Lugol’s Iodine
@Maurice Daher it’s been a while! Hoping all is well. Do you recommend supplementing with iodine without a lot of thyroid symptomes? I’m confused because I’ve seen people in the low carb space saying that we’re all so deficient and we need to supplement. I consume no sea food. My n=1 experience so far was that I reacted badly at first, but I’ve seen iodine experts saying that the more defiecnt you are, the more you’ll react at first. I slowly then increased the dose and did a salt loading protocol as well. A few things I’ve noticed: - I’m able to eat more per meal, and fats specifically (I tend to undereat and struggle to increase my fat intake). - My LDL went from 500s to 300s. I concluded that iodine is supporting my thyroid function and hence, improving the LDL clearance receptors. Was expiremnting for 2 months now.

I'd like to echo @Maurice Daher caution. Between May and August this year, I had thyroid readings that showed hyperthyroidism. I have never had such blood test results previously. My action was to stop the 2% Lugol's that I had been taking at 1 drop per day for over a year. My return to normal happened in a few weeks. If I was to return to taking iodine I would use a drop dilution that looked like this: I drop in 8oz (100ml) and the take 1 TBSP( 6ml) as a dose. That would put me in the 150-300 mcg range that is recommended. For the time being I expect to get enough Iodine with the 4 eggs that I eat each day. I do not consume seafood of any sort.

Updated Lab Results for Review
@Maurice Daher Attached is my blood work results spreadsheet. I'm not sure where to start as several markers are up, then down. In March 2026, I consulted with you after my liver panel numbers flew off the chart. My body was also feeling differently for the past couple of months. We determined that my intake of fat grams was much too high and that I needed to cut back on fat. I also introduced walking (or other stress movements) for 10 - 20 minutes after each meal. Four weeks later, my liver numbers had returned to more acceptable levels. In early April, my APO B and cholesterol jumped significantly. I consulted with you again as I was concerned about this significant shift. I thought that these markers would go down since I was reducing fat in my diet. I didn't realize that the body still needs to adapt to ratio changes that I made, i.e., higher fat grams to protein ratio ➡️ higher protein to fat grams ratio. Sure enough, after 60 days of maintaining my higher protein to fat grams ratio, my APO B and cholesterol numbers eased. My liver numbers also seemed to level out (except my AST jumped a bit). It's now been ~140 days since I reduced the amount of daily fat. I continue to consume more total protein grams than total fat grams. I expected my APO B level to drop from that of June. My triglyercides decreased 10 points and my Oxidized LDL went to 29 (both of which I'm happy about). I am concerned though about several other markers and have highlighted them in yellow. My Vit B12 continues to exceed >2000 pg/mL for more than 75 days. My insulin also jumped to 4.1 from 2.1 during this same period and my glucose hit 103 (from 90). I ran more thyroid panel markers when I had my blood work done 2 weeks ago. My Free T3 level still suggests I'm undereating. RE: Free T3 level... I'm eating 2 - 3 meals a day. I eat until I'm stuffed each time. I'm eating primarily organic grass fed ground beef (w/ some lamb and renegrade beef mixed in), organic grass fed yogurt and organic grass fed cheese. I introduced organic grass fed kefir about 2 weeks ago to make egg nog. I was scrambling my organic pasture raised eggs or cooking the eggs as an omelette. I now know the impact of cooking eggs so I started separating the yolk from the white and blending it with kefir. I add a teaspoon of pumpkin spice and vanilla and it's absolutely delicious! This is how I intend to consume my eggs from now on. I cooked the whites and consume them separately. I also make my own L. Reuteri yogurt with organic half and half. I also eat organic chicken sausage a few times a week. This is it though. I know you stress for us not to count calories. What guidance can you provide me on how much food I should consume daily? Should I try to squeeze in a 4th meal? I walk for 15-20 minutes twice a day, then usually do air squats and push-ups for 15 - 20 minutes after dinner. I work out at the gym 4X/week.

@Maurice Daher @Leilani Tedeski I have the same issue. According to Harvard Health, high values are not a problem when caused by supplementation. Values up to 15,000 have not been found to be detrimental.

📖 Nitric Oxide Production: Dietary Nitrate vs Punicalagin vs Citrulline
Hey everyone 👋 A new lesson just dropped in the classroom; and this one is one I really want you to sit with. 📖 Nitric Oxide Production: Dietary Nitrate vs Punicalagin vs Citrulline Most people assume that if something produces nitric oxide, it's all the same. Same destination, same result. But the route you take matters enormously; especially if you have cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis, or a stent. Here's a small taste of what's inside: → Why citrulline, despite being popular, works against its own mechanism in people who need NO the most → Why dietary nitrate is the only NO source that bypasses the exact blockade that cardiovascular disease creates → Why punicalagin isn't just an NO booster; it protects, repairs, and renews the endothelial cells from multiple angles that nothing else in the stack touches → And what ADMA is, why it matters, and why it's the piece most practitioners never talk about This lesson is written as a full clinical reference; clear, practical, and built around your biology. Go give it a read when you have 15 quiet minutes. It's worth it. 🙏 https://www.skool.com/mauricedaher/classroom/891a429d?md=280636a33c0f404295f8e6efb950eed5 [Come back to this post and Comment Below]

COMMUNITY UPDATE; Trust, Certification, and What's Next
Where This Community Is Going (Read This) Starting today, the 7-day free trial is gone. Too many people were coming in, copying the work, and leaving. That goes against what we're building here. This community runs on trust and real application — not extraction. So here's the new standard: If you post a question and you have not acknowledged the COMMUNITY TRUST by commenting "AGREED", your question will not be answered. This protects the environment for the people who are serious. _____ On certification — addressing @Travis Miller 's question for everyone: Yes. All courses are in the process of being registered. If approved, certification will be awarded so you can work with clients in the near future. Once that's in place, more courses will follow, covering: - Insurance - Business setup - Client handling - The practical tools you'll actually use day-to-day There will be two final exams: - One multiple choice - One full case study where you build a complete protocol for a real client scenario Pass mark is 85% or higher. No shortcuts. Nothing to stress about right now — this is just where the system is going. As long as you keep contributing and applying the work, I'll keep supporting you all the way into working with your own clients. Stay patient. Stay consistent. Keep applying. Comment "AGREED" below if you're in. Then tell me one thing from the lessons you've actually applied this week — that's how I know who's serious.

Agreed. Consistently walking after meals and morning routine leading to gradual improvement in deep sleep, cardio recovery score and resting heart rate.
