Who would you have in YOUR office? Mine has a Librarian, because I create SO MUCH it gets crazy in my online and offline storage. Plus, it scans for opportunities for me. I also have a Product Lab where we code tools. And I have a Marketing Department with a Viral Post Specialist GPT. And I have Operations to help post when I'm away. I don't have anything creating music or art for me because that's my jam! I like to do that MYSELF. What tasks would you want?

How Joy Tells You Where You're Headed
Joy can be such a powerful compass for anyone trying to figure out what comes next, and really, for anyone who feels like something is missing. Think about the last time you got so caught up in something that you lost track of time. You were not chasing joy in that moment. You were doing something that fit you, and the joy showed up by itself. That is the part most of us get backwards. We go looking for joy as if it were the goal, when it is really what the life you want produces, whether you plan for it or not. The life is the North Star. Joy is how you know you are pointed at it. 🎈 That is how it went for me. Years ago I stood outside a mall watching a man play the saxophone, and then I went and bought a balloon starter kit. That kit turned into eighteen years of twisting balloons, and somewhere along the way people started calling me the Giggle Therapist. And just to be transparent, I never set out to find joy, and I never set out to make people laugh for a living. I set out to live a life I wanted to live. The laughing, theirs and mine, came along with it. So if the joy has gone missing for you, it does not mean something is wrong with you. It may mean you have been steering by somebody else's star. This week, notice where joy shows up without being invited. That is your direction. If you find it challenging to locate it, download this FREE tool to help you connect with it.

🤖 Come Hire Emma With Me Tomorrow!
Join me inside Oracle Connections tomorrow at 8 AM Pacific as we hire Emma, the Email Writer! 📧🤖 But what does “hiring” an AI employee actually mean? We’re going to: - Give Emma the important context about your business + offer - Give her a clear job description - Put her to work in Claude Cowork or ChatGPT Work - Test, give feedback, and improve how she works - Then look at how to schedule or automate the work she does This is the shift from asking AI to write an email to actually setting up an AI employee who knows the job and can get better at doing it. See you tomorrow at 8 AM Pacific / 9 AM Mountain! ☀️🤖 👉 join us

@Sybil Hall - well, mine isn't the same thing, today is my calm co-working room. Mainly, I'm the Jedi Calm lady here. But when people are throwing so much spaghetti at the wall and reacting hard about AI, training an assistant once and for all is RIGHT in line with calm focus!
5 THINGS I’VE LEARNT ON MY RATHER UNEXPECTED JOURNEY FROM SKOOL TO THE WWW 😂
When I started doing a little weekly post about events happening around Skool, I had absolutely no idea where it was going. That post became a PDF. The PDF grew. I started manually loading events into a calendar. We created templates. Then automations. Then Magic Buttons. And somehow, a few months later, I'm sitting here with an actual website. Which is slightly ridiculous when I think about it. But looking back, the interesting bit isn't really what we built. It's what I learnt while building it. 1. You don't need to know where something is going before you start. I couldn't have planned what SED is today because most of it hadn't even occurred to me yet. Sometimes you only get to see the next idea because you acted on the last one. 2. Listen when people DON'T do what you expect them to do. This one has been uncomfortable at times. 😂 It's very easy to think, “Well, I've told them what to do. Why aren't they bloody doing it?” But people not doing something is information. Maybe it's too complicated. Maybe it takes too long. Maybe they don't understand why it's worth doing. Instead of getting annoyed with people, I've learnt to get curious about why. 3. Your customers will help you build your business if you pay attention. Some of the best changes we've made haven't come from sitting around having brilliant ideas. They've come from watching what our members struggle with, what they ask for, what they don't use and what makes them say, “Oh, THAT'S easy.” That's gold. 4. Don't get too attached to something just because you spent bloody ages creating it. Ouch. 😂 I've created things that worked perfectly well... until they didn't. The temptation is to hang onto them because of the hours you've already put in. I've learnt that sometimes the smartest thing you can say is: “Well, that served its purpose. What's next?” 5. You are considerably more capable than you think you are. This might be the biggest one for me. There have been plenty of moments during this journey when I haven't known how to do something.

Lovely journey! Expectations are like butts - everyone is attached to them. But step back a little (which you can't from your behind) and see what emerges! Thanks for sharing this!
