I’m Struggling With Sleep 😴
I’ve been having a hard time sleeping lately. Some nights I can’t fall asleep easily, and other nights I wake up in the middle of the night and struggle to get back to sleep. I know worrying about sleep probably doesn’t help, but it’s hard not to think about it when I’m lying there wide awake. For those who have gone through this, what helped you sleep better? Did you change your bedtime routine, cut back on screens, try breathing exercises, or do something else that actually worked? I’d love to hear what helped you.

Blue blocking glasses when looking at a screen and only warm/red light after sundown. Pre-bedtime cocktail of GABA, L-Theanine, Magnesium Glycinate and Lemom Balm to quiet the mind. May also add some Valerian for sleep. Supplemental melatonin only when necessary, start with a low dose and don't use it every night. Be mindful of any content you consume after dark, only read/watch things that are positive and uplifting, no upbeat music.
Thanks my panic attack disappeared
I strive to be healthy and fit to combat panic attack. I play pickleball everyday, meet and mingle with people. I don't forget to pray before going to bed and every morning. I observed that the panic attack no longer exist. No medications whatsoever 🙂

@Marie Hunter That's wonderful! Panic attacks sure are scary, especially when they wake you in the middle of the night. Prayer for the win 🙏!
The Benefits and Disadvantages of Solitude
Solitude can be a beautiful thing, but it also has two sides. Being alone gives us time to breathe, think, reflect, and understand ourselves better. It allows us to enjoy our own company, make decisions without outside pressure, and recharge from the noise of everyday life. But too much solitude can become difficult when it turns into isolation. Spending too much time alone can lead to overthinking, feeling disconnected, or missing the support and connection that other people bring. I’ve learned that being alone and being lonely are not always the same thing. Solitude can help us grow when we choose it, but meaningful connections are still important. For me, it’s about finding a healthy balance, being comfortable with my own company while still making time for the people who matter.

@Margarette Dixon You are so right, solitude is a choice, but isolation just consumes you. I struggle with the overthinking part along with moments of sadness when not staying busy. Without real connection, being alone stops being peaceful and just starts hurting...a LOT. That balance you're describing is the whole thing: you need time with yourself, but you also need people or the isolation will just start to erode you 🥀.
Hello beautiful people! 🌍✨
As we work together toward building a better future, I want to know: what is one small, daily habit you’ve brought into your life recently that makes you feel more grounded or connected to the world around you? For some it's a morning tech-free walk, for others it's a specific mindfulness practice. For me, it's waking up, and stretching my body and 5 minutes of silence. Share your wins below, I’m looking for some fresh inspiration today! 👇🌱

Daily walks in nature. The sights, sounds, and smells help bring me back to center. The left-right of walking also helps with processing thoughts much like EMDR therapy does.
Clearing my head
There is something about taking a bike out into the raw elements that completely clears out the noise in your head. Lately, I have been thinking a lot about what it actually means to upgrade your life. A lot of people think it is about finding a perfectly smooth, comfortable path. But for me, the real growth happens when you are actively navigating the messy parts. On this ride, we spent hours pushing through thick mud, deep ruts, and unpredictable terrain where one wrong move means you are going down. Your mind has to be entirely locked into the present moment. You have to trust your machine, trust your instincts, and keep your eyes focused on where you want to go, not on the obstacles right in front of your front tire. When you finally break through the treeline and hit the ridge, the view changes everything. You get to look out at the horizon and realize how small your daily anxieties actually are. To me, joining this space is exactly like this ride. It is about building the grit to handle the rough patches so you can finally enjoy the view from the top. I am stoked to be in this space with everyone here.

There is definitely something about being out in nature that helps bring one back to center. Our bodies are hardwired to recognize natural surroundings and sounds as safety.
