I reworked the copy of the about page and you roasted last week. Now I reworked the opening images. With my intention to do ads, improving convertion is very important. I got out of Growth Boost and decided to handle my own traffic, but for that to work, I need to make the people I'm calling from the ads actually understand with little context and very quickly what this group is about and having the promisse from the ad match the promisse from the page. So hopefully the current one does the job better. It's more focused on the mechanism of the community and the reason most of the members stay here. I'll also add a second image showing proof of the tag system. Also the communiny description image is just decoration now since with GB off I'm not on discovery anymore. And the most important thing was not covering Roasty's face, so I think that's dealt with now.

From funnel hacker perspective: The idea is strong. What makes it interesting isn’t just the roast itself ...it’s the combination of feedback, visibility, and the right people seeing your work. The main message is already clear with “Post What You Built.” I’d just make the benefit a little more obvious. Right now, there are several things competing for attention: the roast, promotion, tagging, categories, and the three-step process. I’d simplify it so people understand the flow immediately: ROAST & PROMOTE POST WHAT YOU BUILT. Get useful feedback and more visibility from the right people. Skool Communities • Funnels • Offers • Ads • Content I’ll tag the right reviewers. Then keep the bottom very simple: 1. Post it → 2. Get tagged → 3. Get roasted That makes the real value easier to see: you’re not just asking people to post their work. You’re helping them get targeted feedback, exposure, and connections in one place.
Roast my Skoolers post
And I would like specially @Alexandra Alexa input on this. Here is the post. And here is the copy paste of it in case you don't own a group: This is one of my most successful posts, but the definition of motivation, discipline, commitment and as @Alexandra Alexa puts it as mindset can vary from people to people, coach to coach, book to book. So definitions and languages are complicated, but we can discuss the ideas behind them hopefully without getting stuck on the linguitic obstacles. ---->How to not give up on Skool These are the things I did in order to not give up on Skool despite the hard beggining and the disapointments I had. 1. Getting Motivation: - Motivation is knowing what you want and why you should do it. - I was always motivated to make enough money online to give my wife time to raise our daghter and keep working from home without both of us having to work in the office. - A solid plan is what helped me have a strong motivation. I know how much I need to make, I know why, I know the possibilities. But mot importantly: I know what I should be doing right now. A plan is not useful if you can't break it into actionable tasks that you could be doing today. And without a plan it's hard to keep yourself motivated. 2. Keeping Discipline: - Discipline is doing the stuff you should do even when you don't feel like it. And that is specially hard for content creators. - How do I keep myself consistently having content? I don't focus on thinking about content and waiting for inspiration. I just commit to help people out regularly. And by helping people I get an unlimited source of content. Someone asks for support or feedback, I help, think that other people might need what I wrote, and there you go, content. 3. Staying Commited - Commitment is to persist on doing the thing even after you realize it's harder than you thought, afer it gets boring and after you start doubting on how promissing it is. - I work with a lot of people that were only commited to their projects for 1 or 2 months. And most of the time the problem is mismatched expectations. Success does not come easy and quickly, no matter how good your idea is. Everything that is worth takes time and effort. - But we don't want to persist in something that does not work right? So here comes the last piece:

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster This is solid, Paulo. But here’s the funnel hacker roast. 😄 Motivation, discipline and consistency keep you moving. They don’t make the market care. You can grind for 6 months on the wrong offer, wrong message and wrong audience. The biggest lesson here is actually your last one: Market feedback > personal belief. Find the pain. Make the offer. Put it in front of people. If nobody buys, don’t just work harder ...fix the offer, message or market. That’s where the real game starts.

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster Fair point 😄 I was definitely looking at it through my funnel hacker lens. Don’t give up on the mission. Be willing to give up on the version.
Starte the fire 🔥 and Roast my About Page
My school is centered around moving to the Balkans & The Adriatic, for the short or long term. A couple of Months Ago, I got some great perspectives and advice, and since then, I have made many Improvements and changes. So I come again to get some roasting; don't hold back. Especially if you ever thought about moving abroad, your opinion will be especially valuable. Oh, and a small favor to ask: 1-10, how well can you recognize the R in this logo? I just made it but I want to make sure the letter is recognizable. Thanks a bunch! 🍗

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster @Petr Ilic For me, the R is about a 6/10. Once I know it’s supposed to be an R, I can see it immediately. But without that context, my first impression is more of a river/road running through the landscape than the letter R. The visual itself works well .... the church, cypress tree, and waves quickly communicate a Balkan/Adriatic feeling. The biggest room for improvement is definitely making the R more recognizable.
The one thing that differentiates a bad community from a good community
[ROAST MY LESSON] Are the community members heard? When they make a post, do they get an answer? Can they hop on a call and get to talk instead of just listening? Communities are not about consuming content. It's not a podium where you just get heard by your members. It's a space for people to talk and be heard. And the least work the admins need to do for that to happen the more successful the community is. A great community is a place where members start and develop conversations by themselves without too much need to be prompted by the admins. And that can only happen if you develop a space where people get answers and engagment from what they post. So how do you do that? Ask simple questions, create challenges, offer feedback on what people are building. Prompt people to talk about themselves and engage with them. Give shoutouts, celebrate wins. Have clear rules to prevent spammers and scammers, but not rigid to the point of suffocating your member's creativity. Be a leader, not a guru. Don't just dump content and expect people to applaud you. A community is a place where everyone gets an opportunity to shine, not just you.

100% agree with you sir! The best communities aren't built around content. They're built around conversations, connections, and shared progress.
