As you know Scott I love the idea. Just a quick reflection/question from this week of quoting. Many removals occur due to neigbhour disputes regarding leaf drop into pools and gutters or for more light. In some cases if the tree keeper holds the token, but the majority of the impact of the tree is on the neighbour I feel that many the token should some how be shared so that people can stop seeing boundaries and start seeing the trees as joint community assets. For me the distinction between the money in and money out of the token is hard to wrap my head around because the same person that would be paid to keep the tree is the person that is deriving most of the benefits of the tree and therefore should be paying the majority of the yeild.
