Mid-Week Mindset: How To Maintain Progress Through Adversity
Three minutes of bad news in the morning can drag down your whole day. Researcher Michelle Gielan and entrepreneur Arianna Huffington tested this. They found people who read three minutes of negative news at the start of the day were 27% more likely to call their entire day bad by the time they clocked off. Three minutes did that. Now think about what you've been feeding your head lately. The deal that died. The client who went quiet. Everyone online saying things are getting harder. Your brain gives bad news more weight than good. Give it enough negative and it quietly decides your effort doesn't change much. So you push a little less. Pitch a little less confidently. And you get a little less back in return. That costs you real money. Gielan studied over 25,000 professionals. She found the ones who believed their actions mattered were 40% more likely to get promoted within a year, and five times less likely to burn out. Other research found optimists outsell pessimists by 37%. Important note: you can't fake your way there. Forced positivity actually makes burnout worse. What actually works is simpler. When something goes wrong in your day, just don't stop your sentence at the bad part. You lost the deal. OK. What are you fixing on the next call? Your outreach isn't working. OK. So what are you changing in your messaging? You had to start over on a project. OK. What will you do differently this time around? Bank managers at UBS who learned to treat stress as fuel using this technique had 23% fewer stress symptoms during a crisis, and performed better. Same pressure. Different perception. So comment below one thing that went right today. Your brain builds a story from whatever you notice. So give it better material. Some weeks are just hard. You don't have to pretend otherwise. But what you do next still counts. So, what's gone right for you so far this week? Comment one thing below (doesn't matter how small)👇

Welcome! Introduce yourself + share what you're building 👋
Welcome! It's great to have you here. Before you introduce yourself, let me tell you why this community exists. 📍 Our mission The world is about to split between people who can use AI and people who cannot. We exist to stop that gap becoming permanent. This community exists to put you in that second group. My team and I run Morningside AI, a 7-figure AI business working with everyone from local companies through to Fortune 500s. Along the way, we created the AI Automation Agency (AAA) model: the framework thousands of people now use to start and scale their own AI businesses. Everything we teach comes straight from the frontlines. Not theory. Not guru talk. What's actually working right now, handed over. And we've watched complete beginners in here go from "I know nothing about AI" to landing their first paying clients. That's the whole point of this place. You're next. With that out of the way, start here 👇 1. Introduce yourself below. Drop a comment with: - Where in the world you're from - What you're building toward (first client? career change? scaling an agency?) - One thing you're stuck on right now 2. Then head to the Classroom → Start Here. It takes 10 minutes, and you'll know exactly what to do first. While you're in the comments, read a few intros. If someone's story sounds like yours, tell them. Some of the best client work in this community started with two members saying hi. See you inside, Liam 💪🏽

A month ago he was at $1k weeks. That's $10k-month pace. He also got booked to speak at a business retreat interstate, teaching 100+ business owners how to use AI. All of it came from warm outreach and referrals. Exactly what we preach. Full breakdown in his post: [See the post HERE]

We booked a meeting in 20 minutes (on camera)
Hey everyone, 20 minutes. That's all it took for Josh and Jamie to walk into a local business, start a conversation about AI, and book a meeting with a potential client. And they filmed the entire thing. As part of our email series on how to get clients, Josh wanted to prove how simple it really is to go out and find AI clients. No cold emails. No LinkedIn posts. No cold calling. They grabbed a camera, walked down the street, and started talking to local businesses about AI. 20 minutes later, they had a meeting booked with a financial advisory firm. One warning before you watch: the video is raw. Very raw. That's the point. We want you to see what it actually looks like: walking in, pushing through the awkwardness, and coming out with a meeting booked. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zraXWEigqU Now it's your turn...

Straight sauce from the lads!!!
First Project Closed!
Just closed my first full AI voice agent project for a restaurant. The client will pay €1,000 now and another €1,000 in 3 months, so €2,000 total for the setup. The project was for Sushi Maison Boltiere, an Italian restaurant. I built an AI phone receptionist that can: - Answer incoming calls naturally - Check table availability - Book reservations - Modify or cancel existing bookings - Send WhatsApp confirmations automatically - Update a CRM with the reservation data and changes The system is built mainly with Retell AI + n8n, connected to the restaurant's booking platform, with Telnyx handling the WhatsApp side. The biggest part of the work wasn't just building the workflows — it was testing everything properly. I ran hundreds of test calls and worked through edge cases like changing dates/times, unclear customer requests, duplicate checks, cancellations, large groups, notes, and making sure the AI didn't repeat or ask for information it already had. It took much longer than I originally expected, but the project is now finished and ready for the client. Definitely learned a lot from actually building something that has to work with real customers, not just in a demo. €2K project closed. Now onto the next one.
