First coaching completed
Hello everyone, Just finished my first coaching. A couple with a few health problems ( post cancer for her and non-alcoholic fatty liver + cirrhosis for him and both over weight ) already a bit knowledgeable about keto. They went through the whole process of transitioning and got great results. However they chose to quit during summer despite being healthier. Main reason for quitting is they missed the food they used to eat and got bored of eating meat. I closed our last meeting without judging them and kept my door open for them if they want to try again. I feel quite disappointed with the ending of all this despite the great results we achieved. Is there anything I could have done, I didn’t want to pressure them. By your experience, does it take a few attempts to get people to stick with the diet or is this inevitable to lose some clients? Does a large portion of your clients quit and never go back to carnivore?

@James Newmeyer omg, the irony
Doctor appointment
Hi fellow coaches! I’m wondering how you deal with a client that can’t push back on a doctor that is pushing pills on her. My client understands what we are doing to get her on the right path to healing but has to go to the doctor every few months and always come back with a new medication. What should I do? She has now transitioned to keto and we are very slowly going toward carnivore. Her health improved but still dealing with energy issues. My vision is to get rid of medication along the way , which I suspect leads to more harm than benefits. Since we don’t say to our clients to take or not take a medication, how do you deal with this?

@James Newmeyer the clinician refuses to take her off meds, I’m in Canada. Here we have free but crappy healthcare. You basic can’t fire your doctor and find another one. So yes, I’m pointing out to her the improvements. I’m wondering if you guys suggest your client to try something themselves regarding their medication or could I be in trouble doing so. My client, today, came back with another pill!
day 2 on carnivore
Hey eveyrone im day two on carnivore very high fat and I feel really bad right now. I feel as though I am lifeless, super tired, and flat and super low energy. Hate it. How long did it take for you to feel unreal and you feel just a bit better or more stabe, or do you feel like a superhuman? Like unreal? How did tou feel after 1, 5, 7, 14, 30 days on carnivore? I am consuming lots of salt, drinking lots of water, and I eat high fat high or medium protein

Anti-depressant
Hi folks, i'm about to start coaching a woman in pretty bad shape, mentally and physically (MS). She is on 2 anti-depressants: Wellbutrin 300mg and Escitalopram 30mg and also Synthroïd for T4. My question is: Let's say everything goes well, How do we know when to cut back the medication? I know I can't suggest that but how do we know that it is time to check with her doctor? Thank you!
