Coffee Sabotaging Your Fat Loss?
Coffee doesn’t ruin fat loss. But it can absolutely make fat loss feel way harder than it needs to be. Most people don’t struggle because they’re overeating at meals. They struggle because they’re leaking calories through the small stuff they don’t track. Common “calorie leaks” • coffee add ons • oils and cooking sprays • dressings and sauces • a splash of creamer • a drizzle of honey • bites while cooking • liquid calories that don’t create fullness None of those things are “bad.” But if you’re not accounting for them, they can quietly erase your deficit. Here’s the real life math. 1 pound of fat is about 3,500 calories. So if you unknowingly add 500 calories per day, you just added: → 500 x 7 = 3,500 calories per week That’s the difference between: ✓ losing about 1 lb that week or ✗ losing nothing Realistic example (this happens all the time) • coffee “treat” or extras 200 calories (likely more) • oil while cooking 200 calories • sauce or dressing 150 calories Total → 550 calories per day → 550 x 7 = 3,850 calories per week Even if your macros are “perfect,” that alone can stall an entire week of progress. Then the spiral starts • you assume the plan isn’t working • you cut calories harder • hunger gets louder • cravings get worse • you swing back into the all-or-nothing loop This is why the boring stuff matters. Not because you need to be perfect. Because you need your calories to be predictable. Coffee framework (start using this today) ✓ default to grande ALWAYS ✓ ask for no classic syrup ✓ keep flavor at 1 to 2 pumps ✓ choose one creamy option (almond milk or a splash of half & half) ✓ sweeten with stevia or splenda if needed ✓ stir before you drink (syrup sits at the bottom) I uploaded the full Macro Friendly Coffee Guide in the Classroom. It includes Starbucks and Dutch Bros orders, the build your own formula, and my at home 40g protein coffee setup. Now let’s make this interactive. Which order on the menu are you trying first?

Welcome to Foss Performance🧭
This Is Your Roadmap If you’re reading this, you’re officially inside the system. This is not a content library. This is not a motivation hub. This is a performance system built on structure, sequencing, and execution. Read this once. Then move through it in order. BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER This pinned post assumes you have completed Steps 01–04 from the Welcome Email. That means: → Trainerize account active + consultation completed → PAR-Q submitted → Nutrition survey completed → Skool account fully set up YOU MADE IT THROUGH STEPS 01–04 That matters, nice work. From here, continue with Onboarding Phase 1 below. EXECUTION ORDER Your focus now is foundation, not intensity. The goal of this phase: → Establish structure → Build consistency → Remove overwhelm Follow the steps exactly in order. STEP 05: ORIENT YOURSELF TO THE SYSTEM You do not need to consume everything. You just need to know where things live. → Community — questions, wins, feedback → Classroom — training & nutrition education → Resources — trackers, templates, tools → Calendar — coaching calls & live sessions No noise. Only what moves the needle. Spend at least 15 minutes browsing. Specifically the classroom. STEP 06: COMPLETE THE ONBOARDING COURSE 📍 Classroom → Begin Your System Setup This step is non-negotiable. The Onboarding Course includes: → Expectations & communication standards → Systems navigation (Trainerize + Skool) → Personal inventory → Habit Audit (inside the course) → Initial setup checklist Move through the lessons in order. Do not jump ahead. This course sets your coaching direction. STEP 07: ADD GROUP CALLS TO YOUR CALENDAR 📍 Calendar Tab Consistency beats intensity. Block the time. Show up prepared. Engagement compounds progress. STEP 08: COMMENT ON THIS POST Introduce yourself: → Name → Age → Location → Goals → Current struggles This is your ticket to Step 09. No comment = onboarding paused. STEP 09: SCHEDULE YOUR ONBOARDING DEBRIEF CALL Once you’ve completed the Onboarding Course and Habit Audit, book your call
