First Experience with Ultrasound on Vagus nerve and Temple—02/28/2026
I finally got to try out the US Pro 2000 second edition. The results I was hoping for from using this device were to help give my brain a tune-up of sorts—improved memory and word recall. I am also hoping it will help my mother with her mixed-dementia. I used it on my left vagus nerve using the instructional video from Sterling. I gently moved it up and down the vagus nerve for 5 minutes and experienced.... a whole lot of nothing! Lol. Ok, stay with me here. I then bumped it up to medium and did it for 5 more minutes. At least this time I could hear a bit of high-pitched buzzing in my ears. Then, I used it on my temple per how Stuart Hameroff talks about in his Danny Jones podcast here: https://tinyurl.com/487vxcca Anyway, it kind of felt like my brain was being massaged. It felt really good. After between 5-10 minutes of that, I put the device away and started my bedtime routine. At this point, I was feeling SO relaxed, and my brain was silent, with the exception of a song playing in my head that my brain likes to do. I also noticed the volume of my tinnitus had become extremely low; almost imperceptible. It was weird hearing close-to silence in longer than I can remember. The next day, I felt like I'd gotten a fantastic night's sleep. I was even still in the same position as I had fallen asleep in. This was unexpected. As I began going through my wake-up routine, I realized my brain was still incredibly silent, and I still felt very calm. On top of that, from a mental health perspective, I feel fantastic! I feel really good! I've been living with anxiety and depression for decades, so the before and after is quite stark. I feel so good! Anyways, I know I kind of threw out Sterling's guidance about using it for only 5 minutes per day on the left vagus only for.... 2 weeks to start, was it? I can be kind of a maverick that way. And I know this is only anecdotal and possibly a good deal of placebo injected in because I was really excited about trying it. But, I am so encouraged by the results so far!

I saw Danny's podcast with Stuart too and wanted to do this for my brain initially. Thanks for sharing your experience with it here. It has been really helpful!
LG Pro/2000 Ultrasound device
I have some questions about using the LG Pro/US 2000 ultrasound device and I don't see the answers in the user manual. The US 1000 beeps after 5 minutes, but the LG Pro/2000 doesn't seem to give an indication that the 5 minutes are up. If I'm using the LG Pro/2000 on neck/head, there's no way to see the lights turn off on the device. For those using the LG Pro/2000, are you just setting a timer on your phone to know when the time is up, as I can't seem to tell when the device turns off. Also, when I set a time on the LG Pro/2000, the green light illuminates, but then occasionally that light will flash. So if I set it for 5 minutes, the 5-minute light illuminates and stays solid sometimes, but sometimes that 5-minute light will start flashing. Is the flashing indicating it does not have proper contact with my skin? If so, it's hard to tell that's happening if the device is being used on the neck or head, as I can't see the lights while using it.

Im confused. Is this the new one that you were saying was coming out that has a 40 Hz setting? Im really confused about what to buy. I want the one with the lower setting. I returned the US Pro 2000 that had a higher setting.

@Michael Wagner Thank you!!!!
Broken Heart? Your Vagus Nerve May Be The Culprit
Heartbreak literally broken? Maybe your vagus nerve is ghosting you. Scientists snipped cardiac nerves in mice, mimicking a bad breakup. Their hearts aged faster! Fibrosis spiked, ejection fraction tanked. Ouch. Think clogged highways and grumpy heart cells. The vagus nerve, it seems, whispers sweet nothings (acetylcholine!) that chill out angry inflammatory molecules. No vagus? Inflammation party! But here's the plot twist: electrical zaps jumpstarted those nerves. Fibrosis? Reversed! Like a love song rewinding time. So, boost that vagal tone! Meditate, breathe deep, maybe sing to your heart. A happy vagus = a youthful ticker. Who knew?
