I stopped yelling and am at peace with my teen. Now I help parents build calm, connected homes with the Talk-to-Connect method.

Do you need to have a talk with your preteen or teen ...
Hi! do you need to have a talk with your teen and you don't know where to start? Here is what I am working on..........I have been thinking of doing a take on 14 talks by age 14 ... mine is 16yrs old and I still want to catch up on these topics to get her take on each. Share what you want to talk to your kiddo, even if they are past 14....better now than later right? I am thinking of building a resource, let me know what I can cover that can help you. Peaceful Parenting Teens - where we unpack this together.

@Lidia Axe how lovely- notes to my child. Yes. Think it’s good for them to be safe in bringing up life challenges. I know I grew up keeping parents away- safe from my challenges. I wish to bring safety into uncomfortable life situations.

🔎 Tip #3 - Your Group Description should make one promise
This post is part of the Skool Discovery & Growth Boost Tips Series. My goal is simple - help Skool group owners get found, and turn more visitors into members. -- Your Group Description has very little space. Trying to squeeze your whole business into it usually makes the message weaker, not stronger. I see descriptions like this quite often: “We help coaches grow their audience, build a brand, create content, launch offers, improve sales, and gain more freedom.” There may be several good benefits there. But a cold visitor is left wondering which one matters most. Your Group Description should continue the main promise introduced by your Group Name and Cover Image. For example: “Help Skoolers turn their Skool conversations into paying clients.” One clear audience. One main result. One reason to click. You can explain the method, features, bonuses, and other outcomes on your About Page. The Group Description only needs to help the right visitor understand the main promise and take the next step. A simple check 👇 Read your Group Description and ask: - What is the one promise I want a cold visitor to remember? When several promises compete, choose the one closest to the result your ideal member already wants. Clear promises are easier to understand - and easier to continue across your Cover and About Page. -- 🐬 Curious how well your About Page turns visitors into members? 👇 Comment AUDIT and I’ll run a free DFY audit of your About Page copy and visuals. I’ll share your score, the #1 conversion fix I’d make first, and a useful summary here in the thread - so you and other Skoolers can learn from the feedback too. Prefer private feedback? DM me AUDIT and I’ll send the same audit privately.

☀️ Summer Vibes & Your 7 Summers With Your Teen
Not long ago, I was losing my mind with my preteen. Slammed doors. Attitude over nothing. Me yelling, then feeling awful, then yelling again. So I stopped trying to fix my kid — and changed what I was doing. That's my Talk-to-Connect method: small shifts that turn a yelling home into a peaceful one. Now I help parents do the same. 💛 Join me and a community of parents figuring this out, one small moment at a time. And here's the thing — you only get about 7 summers left with your teen. 🙈 Let's make this one feel calmer.

What's your community compass? 🧭
When I build my business, one question quietly runs the whole show: Does this help one more family feel safer, more peaceful, and more joyful? That's my compass. It's the reason I do what I do — and on the days I get lost in the weeds (or my inbox), it gently pulls me back to what matters.I'd love to know yours. What's the deeper reason you keep showing up? Not the revenue goals or the 47-tab strategy doc — the thing that grounds you and reminds you why you started when the hard calls come. Drop it in the comments. I read every one. 👇 P.S. If you're parenting a teen and your own compass feels like it's spinning in circles right now — you're so welcome over at Peaceful Parenting Teen. Come find your people. 💛

Yelling cycle doesn't care if you're a mom or a dad.
So neither do we anymore. Something big and beautiful just happened. 💛 We opened our community to ALL parents of teens and preteens — and it feels so right. Peaceful Parenting Teens is where parents come to support each other, stop the yelling cycle, and actually connect with their kids again. Free, real, and full of heart. If you're parenting a middle or high schooler — this space is for you. I will see you on the inside! 💛
