Prayers
Asking for prayers. My husband and I are currently separated and trying to work things out

Father, in Jesus’ name, I lift up @Kim Washington and her husband to You. Lord, You know everything that has happened between them, every hurt, misunderstanding, disappointment, and every desire they still have to make their marriage work. I ask You to soften both of their hearts and help them communicate with love, patience, honesty, and grace. Bring healing wherever there has been hurt and forgiveness wherever it is needed. Remove anything that is keeping them divided and give them wisdom about the steps they need to take. Lord, if there seems to be no way forward, make a way. Restore trust, renew their love for one another, and draw them both closer to You and to each other. Protect their marriage from the plans of the enemy and surround them with godly people who will encourage reconciliation and healing. Your Word says, “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” (Mark 10:9) We believe You are a God of restoration, and nothing is impossible for You. Give Kim peace while they walk through this season and let Your will be done in their marriage. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen. ❤️🙏
Support
Over the years, I have noticed something that has always made me stop and think. Many influencers, athletes, actors, singers, and other well known public figures are financially supported by millions of people. Companies pay them. Fans buy their merchandise. People gladly spend money to support what they do. Yet many people who have devoted their lives to serving the Lord, preaching the Gospel, praying for the sick, encouraging the broken, and fulfilling the Great Commission often hear things like, "Get a real job," "Just trust God," or "If God called you, He'll provide." I have never fully understood that mindset. Yes, God is our Provider. I believe that with all my heart. But throughout Scripture, God often provided for those in ministry through the generosity of His people. The early church supported those who labored in the Gospel, and Paul taught that those who preach the Gospel have the right to receive support. I am incredibly thankful for the person who faithfully supports me every month. That support is not just about money. It tells me someone believes in the calling God has placed on my life. I never take that for granted, and I thank God for it. Please don't misunderstand me. Prayer is powerful. Prayer changes lives. I need your prayers every single day. But there is something incredibly humbling about someone who steps out in faith and gives, sometimes even when they don't have much themselves. That kind of generosity is worship. It is trust. It is partnering with the work of God. Imagine how many missionaries, pastors, evangelists, and ministries could focus more on reaching people if they didn't spend so much time worrying about how they were going to pay the next bill. Let's be people who don't just cheer on the work of God from a distance, but who actively help make it possible. "The laborer is worthy of his wages." Luke 10:7 Thank you to everyone who prays, encourages, and gives. You are making an eternal difference, and I pray God richly blesses you for every seed you sow into His Kingdom.

Green Socks
Green Socks When my children were about 7 to 10 years old, I was teaching them that God provides. I wanted them to learn that our Heavenly Father cares about every part of our lives, even the smallest things. Jesus said: "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." (Mark 11:24, NKJV) I told them that God would even provide something as simple as a pair of socks. We decided to pray for a pair of green socks because black and white socks were common colors. We told no one about it and kept it completely to ourselves. The first day we prayed, "Heavenly Father, we ask You for a pair of green socks in Jesus' name." Then I shared these words of Jesus with my children: "Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in My name He will give you." (John 16:23, NKJV) From that day on, we didn't keep asking over and over. Instead, every day we thanked God for the green socks because His Word says: "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6, NKJV) Day after day we thanked Him. After about 15 days, I started to wonder if the green socks would ever come, but I chose to believe God's promise. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (Hebrews 11:1, NKJV) About a month later, I asked my former brother in law to help me with a strip and wax job that was going to take two or three days. He arrived at my house, and a little later he said, "Ray Ray," which was my nickname, "I have something if you want it. Someone gave it to me." He reached into a bag and pulled out a brand new pair of green socks. Not only were they green, but they had white crosses on them. I turned and looked at my children, who were absolutely amazed. We had never told anyone what we were praying for. God had answered our prayer in a way that left no doubt it was Him.
