Day 40/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning! Today is Day 40 of 56! 🎉 Congratulations! We made it to Day 40. Look how far we’ve already come! We’re getting closer and closer to the finish line, so let’s keep going! Today, we’re going to talk about something everybody loves: food! 🍴 And this connects perfectly with our lesson today with April, so don’t miss it! Your challenge today is to talk about your favorite recipe and teach us how to make it. Tell us what ingredients we need, explain the steps, and teach us how to make your favorite dish, all in English. It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just speak, practice, and have fun with it! And don’t forget, today we have our Speak with Natives class with April at 1PM Las Vegas time, which is 5 PM Brasília time. I’ll see you there! ❤️

Sorry about the noise in the background 😅
@Mackenzie Marino you made me so happy, teacher 😁😁 I have to pay more attention when to use "on top" and "on the top", because I've realized it's a common mistake from my side, but I will make sure I am will improve myself in this regard 😁
Day 39/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning, everyone! We’ve made it to Day 39 of 56! Today is a very special day for me because it’s my birthday. So, I decided to make today’s video a little reflection. For the past few years, I’ve had a tradition of recording a video on my birthday, talking about how life is going at that moment. So why not combine the two? 😊 I hope you enjoy today’s video, and I really want to hear about your birthday too! 🎯 Today’s challenge is to talk about your birthday. You can talk about: - When is your birthday? - What’s your zodiac sign? - How old are you turning? - Do you like celebrating your birthday? - How do you usually celebrate? - If you don’t celebrate, is there a reason why? - Do you have a special birthday tradition? - Do you have a special or unforgettable birthday memory? Take a look at my video as an example, and also check out the script. I also added a Zodiac Signs Vocabulary Sheet. So, if you have any questions about how to pronounce your zodiac sign in English, that sheet could really help you. And since today is my birthday, I have to say: the best birthday present you could ever give me is your participation here. Seeing you show up, practice, and make progress makes me incredibly happy. So, let’s celebrate by practicing English together! Happy Day 39! And I can’t wait to hear about your birthday! 🎂

@April De Lima you mentioned that on another video, but I forgot 😅 Sometimes it's hard to get rid of these grammar mistakes when you use them too much 😅 I will try my best next time 😁

@Mackenzie Marino no way 😂😂😂 When you're wearing formal wear, you look more mature, but when you're wearing mlre casual clothes, you look 27 at most.
Day 38/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Good morning! Day 38 of 56! Congratulations on starting another week strong! Remember, the little things you do every single day really do make a difference. Keep showing up and keep practicing! Your classes for this week are already on the schedule, so keep an eye on the calendar so you don’t miss more chances to use your English. 🎤 Today’s challenge: Describe your hometown! Try to use the words from the lesson script to expand your vocabulary. Make sure you watch my video and give us as many details as you can! Talk about the size of your hometown, its most important characteristics, what you miss about it, or, if you still live there, what you like or don’t like about it. Try to explain as much as you can and push yourself out of your comfort zone. I’m curious to learn more about where you’re from! Let’s keep practicing, growing, and speaking English! 🗣️🇺🇸

Day 37/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
You made it to Day 37! First, congratulations on completing last week’s storytelling challenges! I loved seeing you practice, tell stories, and push yourselves to speak more naturally. Every time you record yourself speaking, you’re building confidence and becoming more comfortable with English. I hope you enjoyed Saturday’s class! I’m uploading the recording now, and it will be available soon in Recorded Live Sessions if you missed it or want to watch it again. And now, let’s keep going! 🗣️ Today’s Challenge Describe your best friend. Tell us about this person using specific vocabulary and details. You can talk about: - How and where you met -What they look like -Their personality - What you like about them -Things you usually do together - A special memory you share - Why they are your best friend Try to go beyond simple sentences. Give us details and tell a story! Let’s keep going! You’re doing amazing. 💙❤️🤍

Day 36/56 - Your First 56 Days Challenge 🇺🇸
Happy Friday, everyone! Welcome to Day 36 of 56! You are officially 64% of the way through the challenge! You did an amazing job this week with storytelling. You definitely stepped outside your comfort zone, learned new ways to express yourself, and challenged yourself to communicate in different ways. I’m so proud of everyone who continues to show up and put in the work! For today’s challenge, we’re going to watch a Steve Jobs video about an invention that literally changed the world. ➡️ https://youtube.com/shorts/yukKoFJr_4w?is=IYUFJN6gzY4PKOEr After watching, answer these three questions: • What problems does Steve Jobs see with the device he is presenting? • How does he plan to solve these problems? • How has this invention changed the way we use technology today? Make sure you watch my video and check the lesson script before you start. Then, use your own words as much as possible to express your thoughts about what you watched. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in class tomorrow! We have a special guest, Tyler, joining us, and I think it’s going to be a really fun lesson. 🏀 Once again, congratulations on everything you’re accomplishing. Keep showing up, keep speaking, and keep pushing yourself outside your comfort zone. See you tomorrow in class!
