With the holidays and seasonal periods coming up, I was wondering if anyone who’s been doing Etsy/POD for a few years has any advice on poster niches that tend to do well at this time of year? 🎄🎃✨ I’m trying to plan ahead rather than jumping on things once they’re already trending. Are there any particular themes, occasions or types of wall art that you’ve found consistently sell well from September through Christmas and into New Year? I’m thinking things like Halloween, Christmas markets, winter travel, personalised gifts etc., but I’d love to hear from people with experience. Any niches you’d recommend looking into — or even ones you’d suggest avoiding because they’re completely saturated? Any hints or tips would be massively appreciated! 🙌

Hi, I’m trying to understand how some Etsy sellers are setting up their listings. I’ve noticed physical wall art listings that have an option/variation such as “Digital Email – within 24 hours”, alongside the physical print options. How is this actually set up on Etsy? If the listing is primarily a physical product, how can the seller offer a digital file by email without having to add tracking? More importantly, how does this work with Etsy Star Seller? If the buyer chooses the digital email option, does that order get excluded from the on-time dispatch/tracking metric, meaning it won’t negatively affect the shop’s Star Seller status? I’m seeing established shops using this setup while still displaying the Star Seller badge, so I’d really like to understand exactly how they’re doing it and whether this is an Etsy-supported setup. This has been my best month so far in the four months I've been using PrintShrimp. I made a profit of around $800 this month, which is definitely a lot of money for me! It's honestly a little embarrassing to admit that it took me 5 months to get my first sale, but the truth is I was doing everything wrong and wasn't putting much effort into it. Ever since I joined this community about 4 months ago, I've been much more focused, and it has been 100% worth it. With a bit more effort and discipline (which I definitely need 😅), I hope to take this business much further. I genuinely love doing this. Hi Everyone, sorry to bother you all again, just looking for a bit of advice on pricing and how i should move forward with this order. I previously set up a 25% discount for customers who favourited a print, and someone has now used it on a 20 × 28-inch framed print. The order value was around £83 profit, which I was initially really pleased with, but I then noticed the customer is in Australia and the total cost is £79.99. I currently follow PrintShrimp’s guided retail prices and offer free delivery on all listings. Do I need to increase my prices for larger framed prints or international orders to avoid potentially being out of pocket and also the sale prices has been long reduced. My main concern is that, even if there is a small profit left on the original order, I could take quite a large loss if the print arrives damaged or the customer has an issue with it. Thankfully, I haven’t had many problems so far—I’m currently at 285 sales with 52 five-star reviews—but I’m unsure what the safest way to price these orders is going forward. Would you recommend adjusting my prices, excluding larger framed prints from discounts, or charging separately for delivery to places such as Australia and should I refund this order immediate just incase any problems do arise and what hapens if I do that or just go ahead with it? Just wanted to share a little milestone and hopefully encourage anyone who’s just getting started. My Etsy shop has now reached: ✅ 220 sales ⭐ 4.9★ from 38 reviews 🛍️ 1,476 listings 📅 5 months old The first couple of months were definitely a learning curve while I found my feet and figured out what worked. It hasn’t all been plain sailing either. I’ve had refunds, difficult customers, and one review that took my shop from a perfect 5★ to 4.9★ because the buyer hadn’t realised the artwork was AI-generated. It was disappointing at the time, but it’s all part of running a business and you learn from every experience. A massive shout-out has to go to Tom at Print Shrimp as well. He’s been a huge help throughout this journey and has always given honest advice. When I was looking at subscriptions, he could quite easily have encouraged me to move onto the 1,000 listings per month plan, but instead he told me the 500 listings per month option would be more than enough for where my shop was at. That kind of honesty is rare these days. His advice on the bulk listing method has also saved me loads of time and made managing a large number of listings so much easier. It’s genuinely made a big difference to growing my shop. Overall though, staying consistent, improving my products, listening to feedback, and consistently adding new listings has really started to pay off. There’s still a long way to go, but I’m really happy with the progress so far.
