Are there age appropriate watches? And if so, what are the criteria? What do you guys think? Are we thinking strictly age? or are we looking for social or cultural clues?

Happy Superhero Sunday! My plan for today was to wear a different Snoopy, but after opening the box this one jumped out at me as another possibly suited to Autumn. Like yesterday's Militado, my impression of this one was always as summer watch with the colors behind Snoopy. But with the oranges and yellows, think this can also be a a perfect Autumn watch now, as well. So, here is my Timex X Peanuts Snoopy Expedition 40mm Acadia watch today. And as with all of my Timex Expedition pieces, I love the arrow second hand. A small detail, but that is frequently what we can tend to focus on with our individual pieces, isn't it? And in my favorite of color of orange, it works. Best wishes for a beautiful Autumn Sunday in your neighborhood. 😀

One of the aspects I enjoy about watch collecting is the variety of styles. And one of the things I appreciate about Orient is that I can collect watches within my price range. With its champagne dial and rose-gold Roman numerals and bezel, I replaced the bracelet with brown leather strap which I think compliments the dial. I enjoy wearing this watch and though it doesn’t get as much wrist time as it deserves, I also get a satisfaction when I do wear it that some of my other, more utilitarian watches don’t provide, making this my watch of the day.
