St. Baldrick’s Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research As my wife Robin is a cancer researcher, her lab holds a fundraiser annually for St. Baldrick’s wear she acts as the treasurer for the event. A typical event raises funds by having folks collecting donations for shaving their heads and beards. No I did not shave, Robin will not let me. For the evening event I wore black trousers, a white striped shirt, a blue plaid bow tie, a navy pinstripe flar cap and burgundy double monks. While I was there, another well dressed gentlemen complimented me on my outfit, He was another laboratory spouse and was wearing a white linen button up shirt, herringbone trousers and black captoed derbies.
