Favorite Style Accessories
It should be fair to say that most men have favorite accessories that might even be considered part of our “signature” style. Here are my top three favorite style accessories: 1. Neckerchiefs: I LOVE to wear a neckerchief or ascot and have as many of those as I do pocket squares. I feel as though it can add a little pop to an otherwise normal casual outfit. 2. Signet rings: A signet ring is also part of my daily accessories, and it’s very rare that I leave the house without wearing one. They’re also subtle but add just the right amount of extra to the outfit. 3. Watch: Even though it is usually a smartwatch (see my other post) I rarely leave the house without a watch on. Tell me what are your signature accessories?

Favorite Beverages
Since I don’t really want to take many pictures with this neck brace on (I provably will at some point though) I am spending time learning about you all and sharing my own thoughts as well. My question of the day is your favorite beverages. I will include non-alcoholic and alcoholic: Alcoholic: 1. Gin and tonic - This is typically my go to beverage. I prefer my gin dry rather than floral. 2. Jameson and Ginger - I discovered this drink quite by accident as I was in the local Sam’s Club which has Member’s Mark Irish Whiskey on clearance. I looked up a way to mix it and tried this. It was very good, and I keep this around. 3. Vodka soda - I don’t care for sweet drinks as the excess sugar can have adverse effects the following morning. I used to only drink clear alcohol such as vodka and gin; however, as I have gotten older I have found that I like a little bit of everything except rum and tequila. I keep a good supply of bourbon, cognac, brandy, and scotch on hand which I drink either neat or on the rocks depending on how I am feeling and the weather. I keep a well stocked bar at home and everything is in crystal decanters. Non-alcoholic 1. Coca Cola - Its a huge vise that I have. I have such a love of the drink that I own stock in the company (which regularly returns great dividends). I figured if I was going to buy so much that I might as well make myself some money 😂. My love for Coca-Cola is so well known that coworkers leave 6 pack bottles in my office from time to time, and I have a friend who keeps at least one or two in his mini fridge in case I visit. 2. Sweet tea - What can I say? I am from the south. 3. Coffee/hot tea - I am very much a flavored coffee kind of guy and that’s very much a new thing as I never drank coffee in my younger adult years. I love a good latte. I love hot tea. I can drink English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Lady Grey, Irish Breakfast, or Darjeeling. I start every morning with a glass of water. When I was active at the gym I obviously drank more water than I am the moment.

@Vaibhav Chawla I actually have some in the fridge!
What you carry depends on what you wear
I love this one, but sometimes it's more difficult than others, especially during summer. And changes in technology has had an effect as well; in addition to phones, keys have changed to fobs, which don't always sit right when you have multiple. https://www.instagram.com/p/Dc5_NLyEnhO/?igsi=MTk4aWlrMzdveXh1NA==

Just because I’m at home recovering from a neck injury and surgery doesn’t mean I sit around in my pajamas all day. So many people are surprised when they see I get up and get dressed everyday. Today’s outfit consists of: 1. Basic white polo 2. Dark brown slacks (Ralph Lauren) 3. Brown/blue argyle socks (Brooks Brothers) 4. Brown tassel loafers (Allen Edmund) 5. Apple Watch with brown leather band 6. Silver signet ring 7. Very uncomfortable rigid cervical collar 8. Eyeglasses (Gucci)

You would never catch me in a……….. How silly. I have a wall of graphic tees in my closet. Most of them are either our band t shirts or the Boy Scout troop where I used to be the Scoutmaster and yes I find occasions to wear them. The trick in my mind is intentionality with consistency. The vast majority of the time anyone sees me out of the house my shirt will have at least a collar and at least half the time there will be a tie around my neck. After returning from Scotland and seeing the great world wide conformity of dudes in hoodies and graphic T’s and gals in spandex underwear (Aka LuLuLemon yoga pants), I feel like when I am wearing a tweed tie and sportcoat and tattersall shirt , today it’s like the leather jacket and blue jeans motorcycle (aka Fonz) was in the 1950’s: the rebellious loner (well sort of 😎). However, Just like a Rocky Mountain National Park coffee cup brings me favorable memories of my trips there, when I am wearing certain Graphic T’s around the house or out to the boat or even a dash into the hardware store, pleasant memories are evoked by them. Today’s outfit incorporates several of my favorite memories. Firstly I just took the tag off this one that I’ve had for well over a year. Given to me by my recently departed best friend and co leader of our 22 year old Celtic Band: Timothy O Brian’s Celtic Cheer I had to smile. Timmy introduced me to The Quiet Man movie that is a must watch ever St Paddy's Day. Tim and I quoted the line on the shirt every time we went to the pub so he surprised me with the shirt as a gift. My shorts are Orvis quick dry shorts with little fish motifs throughout and my shoes are Sperry Topsiders: Most of my favorite things are wound into today’s lounge around the house OOTD 1) time spent with my best buddy and family (my son has been in the band over 10 years) 2) a third of my life in a band playing music 3) all things Celtic including my love of Irish/Scottish - Whiskey/Whisky 4) 2/3 of my life as a fly fisherman

This is a running joke among my family and friends. I do not wear any type of graphic t- shirt unless I am forced to… such as a company event where shirts are provided. I had a family member once ask “Do you ever just wear a t shirt and jeans?” No, I do not. There’s a video floating around on TikTok that a friend posted which I was blowing leaves off the driveway. I was wearing khakis, a button down shirt, a sweater vest, and an ivy cap. That is just how I like to dress. Likewise, I do not own a pair jeans. I am (unlike many people) more comfortable fully dressed.
