Reflection questions
1. Where has God called you to persist rather than pivot, even when progress feels slow 2. What disciplines must be strengthened to ensure completion of your current assignment? Understanding check questions: 1. Using Scripture, explain why execution is essential to prophetic maturity 2. How do biblical examples such as Joshua, Nehemiah, or Paul demonstrate the importance of finishing well 1. Where has God called you to persist rather than pivot, even when progress feels slow? God has called me to remain steadfast in the assignments He has already placed in my hands rather than constantly seeking something new. The tension is not in direction but in endurance. Scripture reminds me, “Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9). Slow progress does not mean absence of purpose—it often means God is developing capacity, discipline, and obedience. Instead of pivoting when results are delayed, I am being called to stay planted, trust His timing, and mature through consistency. 2. What disciplines must be strengthened to ensure completion of your current assignment? The primary discipline that must be strengthened is obedience. Not partial obedience, but full and immediate response to God’s instruction. Alongside that, consistency in prayer, time in the Word, and focused execution are necessary. Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). Completion requires structure—guarding time, eliminating distractions, and following through even when I do not feel motivated. Strengthening discipline ensures that what God started through me is not left unfinished. Understanding Check Questions 1. Using Scripture, explain why execution is essential to prophetic maturity. Prophetic maturity is not proven by what is revealed, but by what is carried out. Revelation without execution leads to stagnation. James 1:22 states, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Execution demonstrates alignment with God’s will. Jesus Himself modeled this when He said, “I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do” (John 17:4). Maturity is seen in finishing what God speaks, not just receiving it. Without execution, prophetic insight remains incomplete and lacks fruit.

The Warfare Around You Is Not Random
I was reflecting on the past few weeks, the warfare, the attacks, and the challenges. There are times when the enemy knows he cannot defeat you, so he shifts his strategy. He releases relentless pressure to throw you off balance and distract you from the destiny set before you. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 16:9 that “a great and effectual door is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” This reveals something powerful. Warfare is often an indicator that a door has opened. The resistance is not proof that you are off course. It may be confirmation that you are exactly where you need to be. One of the things the Lord is emphasizing in this hour is to maintain your regimen. Occupy your prayer life. Stay anchored in the Word. Remain committed to study. The disciplines that brought you into this dimension must be sustained if you are going to remain there. What carried you cannot now be neglected. Reinforce the power of community in your life. Scripture declares that iron sharpens iron. You were never designed to navigate warfare in isolation. God uses covenant relationships to strengthen, refine, and stabilize you in moments of pressure. The key is to keep moving forward. Isaac encountered opposition as he re-dug the wells of his father, yet he did not stop. He continued until God made room for him. That making of room is not accidental. It is the manifestation of dominion and authority that is released when you successfully endure and respond correctly to the moment. Now hear this clearly as a people in formation. You are not just learning prophetic language. You are being formed into prophetic people. Formation requires pressure. Formation requires consistency. Formation requires submission to process. What you are experiencing is not interruption. It is development. The Lord is strengthening your ability to remain steady under pressure. He is building your capacity to hear clearly in the midst of noise. He is establishing you so that your response is not emotional, but governed. This is how prophets are matured.

Governance Strategy for My Gate
Purpose: This discussion helps translate discernment into intentional governance and action. Instructions Create a discussion post (250–350 words) outlining your 60-day governance strategy. Include the following elements: 1. Gate Summary: Restate the gate you are addressing. 2. Desired Outcome: What change or improvement would you like to see within the next 60 days? 3. Strategic Actions: Identify 3–5 actions that could strengthen governance within this gate. Examples: • initiating prayer coverage • strengthening leadership structure • addressing a specific issue • implementing accountability measures 4. Indicators of Progress: How will you know if progress is being made?

The primary gate I am addressing is the church, while also recognizing its influence across my other gates—marketplace/business, education, and family. The church serves as the foundation, and what is established there should flow into every other area of influence. Within the next 60 days, my desired outcome is to see a shift from passive, entertainment-driven engagement to intentional spiritual growth and accountability. I want to see individuals develop a deeper understanding of God’s Word, recognize their spiritual responsibilities, and begin to walk in alignment with Kingdom standards rather than cultural norms. To strengthen governance within this gate, I will focus on several strategic actions. First, I will initiate consistent prayer coverage, both personally and in small group settings, to invite God’s direction and establish spiritual authority. Second, I will emphasize sound teaching by intentionally sharing truth rooted in Scripture, ensuring that it is not influenced by personal bias but aligned with God’s Word. Third, I will begin fostering accountability by encouraging honest conversations, mentorship, and discipleship that challenge individuals to grow. Fourth, I will model the standard through my own life, demonstrating consistency, integrity, and obedience. Lastly, I will identify and support emerging leaders, helping them understand and carry their responsibilities effectively. Progress will be indicated by both qualitative and observable changes. I will see increased engagement in prayer and discussions centered on spiritual growth. Individuals will begin to demonstrate greater awareness of their actions, showing a desire to live according to God’s standards. There will also be evidence of strengthened relationships, openness to correction, and a willingness to take responsibility within their roles. Ultimately, progress will be reflected not just in participation, but in transformation—where belief is matched by behavior.

In Week 1, I identified my primary gates as the church, marketplace/business, education, and family. While each of these areas carries influence, I see one of the most significant breaches within the church. The breach I recognize is a shift from spiritual accountability to entertainment-driven engagement. There is a growing desire for comfort over conviction, where standards are lowered and “anything goes” becomes acceptable. This reflects not only a lack of leadership but also a misunderstanding of spiritual authority and responsibility. I also discern a breach in mantles—where individuals are either unaware of their God-given assignments or are not properly equipped and taught to carry them with integrity. The root cause of this breach appears to stem from compromise and misalignment with Kingdom principles. When the church adopts worldly standards to attract people rather than upholding God’s pattern, it creates confusion and weakens spiritual structure. As Scripture reminds us, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). Without this transformation, both leaders and followers drift from truth. Initial restoration must begin with teaching and reestablishing God’s order. This includes sound doctrine, clear standards, and intentional discipleship that emphasizes identity, responsibility, and spiritual maturity. Accountability must be restored, not in a condemning way, but in a way that produces growth. This restoration is not limited to the church alone—it must extend into every gate I influence, ensuring that God’s pattern is consistently modeled and taught.

@Latasha Lewis OMG yes!!!!!! This is so powerful and honestly something that does not get talked about enough. You didn’t just point out a problem—you exposed a pattern that has been quietly affecting the church for a long time. The connection you made between the Assyrians and their ability to see beyond the current tools really stood out. It highlights that advancement is not just about what is available, but about perception and the willingness to use what God has already revealed in a greater way. Your point about technology going beyond devices into knowledge, strategy, and revelation is necessary. Many times the church is not lacking access, but is delayed in understanding, and that delay comes at a cost. When tradition and familiarity take priority over revelation, it limits growth and weakens effectiveness. What you said about fear, control, and insecurity driving that resistance is real, and it explains why new revelation is often rejected instead of examined. I also appreciate how you brought it back to the solution—aligning with Him. That is the only way restoration truly happens. This is needed, and I’m glad you said it because it challenges us to move beyond comfort and actually grow.
What Gates Has God Authorized Me to Influence

I believe God has positioned me to influence four primary gates: the church, marketplace/business, education, and family. Each of these spheres intersects with my daily life and calling, creating both opportunity and responsibility to reflect Christ in tangible ways. The evidence of this authorization is consistent across my experiences. In the church, I am drawn to teaching and encouraging others in their walk with God. Within the marketplace and business, particularly through my work in cosmetology and nonprofit leadership, I have been given opportunities to lead, mentor, and create environments that reflect integrity and purpose. In education, my role as an instructor allows me to shape not only skill development but also character. In my family, I carry a clear responsibility to model a life that honors God. These are not just placements—they are assignments confirmed through open doors, trust from others, and a persistent internal burden. Currently, my level of influence is growing. I am actively teaching, leading, and building, but I also recognize that stewardship is required to expand that influence responsibly. Influence, in this sense, is not about position but about obedience and consistency. The spiritual burden I carry is to ensure that people encounter the truth of Jesus and His love without distortion. I am especially concerned with representing God accurately—teaching His Word without personal bias and living in a way that reflects His character. My desire is that through both my words and actions, others see an authentic example of who God truly is.
