Launch question
Just getting ready to launch my Founder's community and wanted insight on using the default Skool tour video. Any thoughts or best practices?

@Mike Bounats Hey Mike thanks so much. I actually did a face to camera welcome video but it did not include the Skool "tour".😀
🩺 Community Clinic 2.0 Starts Today: How Can I Help?
you don't need more information. you need someone to look at your community and tell you what to fix. that's the whole clinic. no slides, no frameworks, no summit replays you'll never open. you bring your community, i ask how can i help, and i tell you what i'd actually do. but there is more: - 6 amazing experts/speakers joining me for a daily roundtable discussions (to be revealed shortly) - 3 successful case studies to help you see a real life examples - bunch of other Skoolers sharing their struggles here's what one conversation did for Eugene - he just posted yesterday after our call only 2 days ago: "I made changes to my community and already got 4 members since we've talked. Awesome and thank you 😊" check the calendar. come to as many sessions as you can. for sure come for the hot seats. that's where your community gets fixed. and there are prizes from our sponsor - Community Income Mastermind 😎 anyone who joins live or take a REAL part in the CC 2.0 - you're in the draw for $497 annual subscription. i'll draw the winner at the Monday debrief. everyone else who shows up and takes part gets an ASYNC audit of their community from me. it's all FREE. the recordings are FREE until 1 October. check the Calendar and check in. ps who is coming?

They Are Solving the Wrong Problem | Axe Verdict
yes, it's that time again. Skool News is out. and i have a controversial opinion about it (always). in this Skool News issue, they talk about "creator burnout" and "content treadmill". both are true. but they do not apply if you are NOT a content creator, but a business owner. here is what they are saying: - outsource growth to Skool - focus on delivery only sounds very attractive, right? spoiler alert - no, it does not. if you are a business owner, and you outsource smth to an external party, you want "a bulletproof service contract with clear performance metrics" (not me, Gemini said this). what does it mean? - "Clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Define exactly what success looks like. Include specific deadlines, quality standards, and response times so there is no ambiguity." now, tell me, do we have this with Skool GB? well, i will answer that - no: - no control - no clear deadlines - no expected standards all we are asked for is TRUST US TO DO IT RIGHT. well, you can do it - you can trust them to do it right. i don't. and here is the REAL PROBLEM: - they said "it is working for a bunch of people". cool. what bunch? give me real numbers, please! - i can't outsource smth, if i don't have any control over how it actually works for ME. it is not the way to do business. and i am a business owner, not content creator. - and then, they are saying "continue to create content and drive traffic". what?! why? wait? didn't you just said i will end up with creator burnout?! final point. difficult to digest. remember how they said that "only 5.0 rating is not good for a community"? hm, i wonder if the same applies to their own feature. so far, they never mentioned a SINGLE bad thing about GB in the news. that just sucks. to me. - never acknowledged people's concerned - never mentioned what does not work - never said anything bad about it so, i am sorry to say what Stanislavski used to say "I don't believe you". but, it's just me.

@Lidia Axe Love hearing a different perspective. I'm new to Skool and only in the midst of my beta launch but learning as much as I can. I agree that Growth Boost is nebulous but so is paid digital marketing. You can do Meta or YouTube ads and still not know up front what the return on your investment will be. Granted you can control how much you are willing to pay per click or per lead but you may get 1 lead or 100. You just have to test and tweak. Having said that giving up 50% of your revenue for life seems a bit extreme but if they can produce the volume some memberships need it could have its upside. Either way it's a great discussion. thanks

@Zena Rydergreat point and the targeting matters. I’ve seen Skool communities show up when I’m on Facebook but they are for communities I would not have any interest in

Good to be here. Just trying to learn as much as possible about Skool before launching. The welcome video is super helpful. Is that a default feature of Skool or did you have to create that?
