Im Smiling From Ear To Ear. ๐Ÿ˜
It always makes me smile from ear to ear when a member talks about your community in another community and gives you a shout out for what you do. Thank you to Auli Takala of Summit Backstage Mastermind. I had a great conversation with Auli, an absolutely amazing lady with so many skills and abilities, not to mention 3 communities that she runs here in Skool. But lets talk about Summit Backstage Mastermind because I really believe this is going to be a biggy because of what it can do for all of you. Itโ€™s all about something that we talk about a lot here at Skool Events Dailyโ€ฆ getting visible and creating genuine connections. Because there are so many talented people out there with incredible knowledge, amazing events, and brilliant ideas, but sometimes the hardest part is getting seen by the right people. This community is focused on helping people create those opportunities through connection, collaboration, and showing up. Inside they have things like: ๐ŸŽค Summit speaking opportunities ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Podcast guest opportunities ๐ŸŽ Collaboration and bundle opportunities ๐Ÿค Building strategic partnerships ๐Ÿ“ข Growing your visibility and audience ๐Ÿ’ก Weekly mastermind support I love communities that bring people together, because quite often the next opportunity doesnโ€™t come from searching harderโ€ฆ it comes from the conversations and relationships you build along the way. So if youโ€™re looking for somewhere to connect with other people, share your knowledge, and open yourself up to new possibilities, this is definitely one to have a look at. โœจ

Your Events Don't Need An Agenda To Work
The vast majority of events fail before they start because someone thinks they need a full agenda to make it worth showing up. In all honesty, they don't. So check this out. Here are six formats that need almost no prep and still feel valuable, because the value is people being in the room, not the slides. 1. Open Office Hours: same time every week, no set topics. People drop in, ask what they need, leave. 45-60 mins. 2. Virtual Coffee Chat: no agenda beyond "bring a drink and talk." You just connect the dots between people. 30-45 mins. 3. Wins & Lessons Round: everyone shares one win, one lesson. You go first. 30-40 mins. 4. Hot Seat: one or two members bring a real problem, the group works it live. Everyone watching learns something too. 40-50 mins. 5. Open Theme Chat: pick a topic your members already argue about (pricing, clients, content) and just open the floor. 40-50 mins. 6. Quiet Co-working: cameras optional, mute on, work alongside each other. Short check-in at the start and end if you want one. 60-90 mins. Start on time even if it's just you and one other person. That's the whole trick.

Our first-ever podcast is live - and we didn't exactly ease ourselves in.
Our first guest is Lydia Axe of 30-Day Skool Hackathon, one of the most active and generous members of this community, and someone who's actually run events, workshops and full summits - not just talked about them. We got into what works, what doesn't, and where most community owners go wrong. A few things worth pulling out: Events are the accelerator for know, like and trust. People can happily lurk in your community in their pyjamas at 3 am - but at some point they need to see your face, and a live event is the fastest way to earn that. Start small, not with a summit. Lydia's first Skool event was a 12-speaker summit โ€” but she'd been running events for over a decade before that. Her advice for the rest of us: partner up with one other owner whose audience overlaps yours, and build from there. Be specific or be ignored. A vague "coffee chat" or generic "ask me anything" gets your favourite aunt and nobody else. A sharp angle - she ran a low-ticket vs high-ticket debate - is what makes people actually show up. Always record it. Even when nobody turns up live, talk anyway and post the replay. Far more people watch it back than attend on the day. There's plenty more in the full conversation - including her "100 rejections" exercise, which is worth the watch on its own. If you want to learn from Lydia directly, her free 30-Day Skool Hackathon is here: Check out our brand-new YouTube channel and hit subscribe while you're there. SUBSCRIBE HERE Des

I don't fully agree with this though "Be specific or be ignored. A vague "coffee chat" or generic "ask me anything" gets your favourite aunt and nobody else."... I think these type of calls do have a place in your community for just bonding with your tribe and a casual hang out can lead to some really strong connections and opportunities that wouldn't otherwise happen with a strict specific agenda.

@Lidia Axe you're not even slightly biased! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Nice to meet you. I look forward to watching it later. ๐Ÿ˜

My Surprise And Biggest Announcement Yet ๐Ÿ‘€
Heather How are you all doing? And we're here on my final big announcement, I'm really interested to know if anyone has guessed it yet. What do you reckon, Des? Have you guessed it yet? Des I think so. Yeah, I've got an idea. You got a good idea? Heather Well, on top of up leveling on premium, and going pro. I have alsoโ€” we've added like the 3 Ps, haven't we? Sort of premium, pro, and then the final one is partnership. Des Yay! Heather So Des and I have joined in partnership here on Skool Events Daily, and I'm gonna get Des to explain more about why and what he's gonna be doing because this is gonna going to be his role. But I am still in the front, I am still running Skool Events Daily. So you're not getting rid of this sort of lovely, beautiful face and exchanging it for Des's, although Des's will appear. Thankfully, I will let him appear every so often. Fire away, Des. Why, why have we joined in partnership? Des Yeah, sure. Thanks. Thanks a lot. And yeah, really exciting. And I think it's something we spoke about a few weeks ago. And we have been speaking about and it's been finalized. So one of the main reasons is I've been an admirer of the community for quite a while now. I absolutely love the model. I absolutely love the way we're able to actually promote lots of different communities and just obviously network as well. And I also like you, Heather, and otherwise I wouldn't haveโ€” we wouldn't be doing this. So it'sโ€” I don't know, I just think there's a massive opening for events. There are a couple of communities that are doing it, but I think it can be done better. And as you were saying, I'm not going to be at the forefront. I'll be in the background, hopefully helping with the marketing side of things, but you will still be running it. You'll be the face of the community. And yeah, nothing really changes for anyone really, but hopefully some new exciting things coming in the latter part of 2026. Heather Definitely. I mean, from our conversations, we have so many ideas that we are gonna bring forth. And what we have done this week is just really the start of it. But we really do want to sharpen things up and remove a lot of friction and make it a smoother journey, not just for people holding events, but also for people coming in and looking for the type of event that they want. But what I love about working with you, Des, is that you have a lot of tech ideas and everything, which I don't have. And you bring in a lot of experience, like you said, on the marketing side, but also in relation to events that you hold yourself. And Des is gonna appear on a regular basis doing some events, and we're going to expand to bringing events intoโ€” as in holding events in Skool Events Daily as well. So we're gonna be a really good platform for that. But we're not going to give too many of our secrets away at the moment, but this is our big surprise. Theirs is my big secret.
