Rawl's Question Answered
You can consciously want change and still feel like something inside you hasn’t caught up yet. That’s where Sankalpa can become such a powerful part of Yoga Nidra. A Sankalpa is often translated as an intention or resolve, but it goes deeper than a typical affirmation. It is a heart-led declaration that reflects something you already know, or are beginning to recognize, as true at your core. It can sound like: ‘I am safe.’ ‘I am enough.’ ‘I trust.’ ‘I choose peace.’ ‘I allow support.’ ‘I return to myself.’ During Yoga Nidra, the mind becomes deeply receptive. Repeating your Sankalpa in this state can help reinforce new beliefs and patterns beneath the surface, especially when your conscious mind knows you want change but older subconscious conditioning is still running the show. You do not have to use an 'I am' statement. Your Sankalpa can begin with 'I am,' 'I choose,' 'I trust,' 'I allow,' 'I welcome,' or simply 'I.' The words matter less than the truth beneath them. Choose something simple. Something you can return to. Something that feels like a deeper remembering rather than a performance. @Rawl O'Neal

The Radiant One, makes sense, I hold space for others to get what they need with the sound and energy healing sessions we do 💙
The story behind Nova Nidra, for anyone who's never heard it
With a few days left, I want to introduce myself properly to anyone newer here. I'm a trauma-informed yoga nidra teacher trainer and somatic coach, and I built Nova Nidra because I needed this work myself before I ever taught it. My own nervous system forced the issue long before I had language for what was happening. I've lived in the Flamekeeper state longer than I'd like to admit, spent real years as a Dream Weaver trying to close the gap between what I could see and what I was actually living, and I'm still, honestly, in the process of steadying into the Radiant state myself. What started as my personal practice became the Peace in Rest Program, and eventually this teacher training... because the people going through it kept asking the same question: How do I share this with someone else, safely and well? That's a part of the gifts I share from what I have learned from the "& Beyond," and that's why these trainings exist. I'd love to know a bit of your story too.

I should be going into my "golden years", winding down and looking at retirement. Instead, these past four years I have been building a whole new life. Getting certified in sound and energy healing and sharing this gift with others in need. I'm still dreaming and dreaming big 💙
Full moon tonight — the Buck Moon
Tonight's full moon — the Buck Moon — is the release point of this whole lunar cycle, and I want you to actually use it, not just read about it. Comment the thing you're releasing tonight, in one sentence. Say it plainly. Let it be witnessed. If part of what you're releasing is the doubt about whether you're "ready" for this training — I want to gently push back on that word. Readiness isn't a feeling that arrives before you start. It's something that builds because you started. Every student I've ever trained felt some version of not-ready right up until the first live call. Ten days left in this enrollment window. If tonight's release makes room for a clearer yes, I'd love to hear it.

My old ways, the ways of living small. The moon has been a beautiful golden/amber color this cycle, unfortunately the reason for that color is the wild fires, doesn't detract from the beauty though.

@Ayla Nova To continue learning and growing in the healing arts, it is an honor and privilege to be allowed to hold space for others as they get what it is they need at any given moment. 💙
Full Moon in Aquarius — Time to start noticing
The full moon arrives this Wednesday, July 29, a point in the lunar cycle traditionally associated with clarity, completion, and release. As it approaches, I invite you to notice what has been taking up your time. How many hours disappear into scrolling, consuming, distracting yourself, or simply moving through the same routines without bringing you any closer to the life you want to live? This is not about judging how you rest. Rest is necessary. But there is a difference between what truly restores you and what keeps you disconnected from yourself. Perhaps the deeper question is: **“What is worthy of my time now?”** What could change if even one of those hours became an opportunity to understand your nervous system, learn how to regulate yourself, listen more deeply to your dreams, and reconnect with the purpose asking to move through you? What might become possible if you stopped giving so much of your life to distraction... and began giving it to what helps you feel fully alive? I have an invitation for you. **Peace in Rest | Nova Nidra Teacher Training** is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Yoga Nidra, restore your nervous system, and develop the capacity to guide others back into connection with themselves. If you feel the pull toward this path, you are invited to book a call with me. We can explore the training together, speak about where you are now, and discern whether this is the right time for you to step in. Let's hop on a call. LEARN MORE

I have been meditating for over 50 years, only recently become exposed to Yoga Nidra. It has become a favorite and I wish to learn more.
