My First 2k month...in month 4
Hi everyone. So I just wanted to pop on here at the start of October and share my experience. I joined Etsy on May 28th and uploaded my very first print June 3rd. June 17th I had my first sale. I followed the Printshrimp videos to the letter and haven't deviated from it at all. I have been documenting this on my tiktik (@Sidehustlemichael) and have between 450-500 prints uploaded currently. Month by month it has increased and in September I made just over £2000 in profit. PROFIT, not revenue. I spend between 20-30 hours a month on this. If you are on TikTok come over and follow and if not, feel free to ask any questions here, but to be honest, just trust in the process. (I won't be sharing my Etsy store before anyone asks!)

Selling on other platforms?
Has anyone tried selling their prints on other platforms such as eBay / Amazon? If so, how successful was this for you?

Interesting, @Richard Windsor ... I've been investigating this idea as some of my non-poster related products have had some sales on Amazon (not looked at eBay). How did you get around the branding / GTIN scenario? did you mark as Generic brand or did you get GTIN Exemption?

@Richard Windsor Thanks Richard. Yes it's not easy, I have some experience with Amazon but in the past I have dropped all my listings because of the constant issues with them. I thought I would try one more time :-)

Customer query
Hey guys, so a customer has marked their order as a gift they have used the gift note to communicate a message to me so I messaged them to query it and they do not want the message printed on the shipping label is there a way to add a note to a order to let printshrimp know or do I need to place the order and then email them?

This is an interesting comment - I had no idea that a gift message would appear on the shipping label. Where is this detailed on the PS website? How does this work and where is this documented for me to read and understand what the functionality is? I may have missed this. @Jade Walker @Mihai Volintiriu Thanks!

@Mihai Volintiriu Great, thanks, and good to know. I guess my main question is still open then... All the text in a gift message on n Etsy order will print on the shipping label? Does anyone have an example of this that you can attach here so people can clearly see what happens? I assume this is for ALL destinations across the globe where PS ship to?
