Stuck on full planche 😔
Guys I need help form someone who has mastered the full planche hold. I’ve been stuck at 4 sets of 3 seconds for a whole month. My routine is basically train it 3 times a week with a lower body session between each of the 3. 2 high intense focus and 1 low intense focus in between the 2. Been doing bodyweight hold 4 sets RPE 9 A pulling skill and then into another 4 sets of band assisted RPE 8. lastly after another pulling skill I do a dip hold raised into a proper adv tuck hold (hold 1-2 seconds) 4 sets of 6 reps (RPE 7) On the low intense day I do around RPE 7.5 to 8 of banded holds 4 set and pseudo planche push ups with extra lean (almost floating ) 4 sets of 7-8 easy reps. I don’t know what I may be missing, but I’m assuming it’s tuck planche push-ups that I need to add in on my low intense day between the two intense ones. But what do you planche professionals think?

@Chan Woo Park I get your point of time under tension. But I guess I wanted to hear a perspective on how YOU personally got a longer planche hold. Cause your talking about doing some planche press or planche push ups but bro I’m still trying to master the hold.😂 Are those the combos that helped you get a longer planche hold time when you first unlocked planche?

@Chan Woo Park ah ok I see. Yeah I will definitely try to implement more time under tension. Now that I think about it , that’s how I got my full front lever better. What I did with front lever was do a full hold, then when my form started to get bad I would go directly to straddle. Helping me get to a 15 second front lever hold after a couple weeks of that So you just reminded of something that I forgot about 😂🔥💪
Increasing hspu reps
Right now my max hspu reps are at 3 but I want to improve to be able to do at least 5 reps with ease so that I can start working on harder variations and combos. How should I work towards getting higher reps? Should I do ctw reps during my sessions or gtg with them or are there any better suggestions?

@Finn Milic at the start. I don’t even know what allows some guys to train 2 times a day unless they’re unemployed or are a professional athlete 😂

@Finn Milic nah all you really need to actually improve for a skill is the skill progression focus, and 2 other exercises that focus on certain areas of the skill. And the rest is more like just basics or maintaining other skills
Where to look in front lever and front lever pull ups?
Yo bros if anyone can do a front lever pull up for reps, where do you guys normally look? I’ve been looking at my feet but I heard a famous calisthenics coach say look at the bar or slightly pass the bar. Here is a video

@Chan Woo Park ok so was there a specific number you had in mind before going into XXX? Cause my thought process is let me get 6 clean reps so I don’t have to go back to fixing my basics once I try XXX

Why planche is harder than front lever for me?
Hey guys so it took me 7 weeks to unlock my full front lever and 4 months in total to get it to 15 second full front lever My question is why isn’t planche the same way? I’ve been working on it for a little over a year now and I still can’t do full bodyweight for 15 seconds. You would think if front lever (horizontal skill) was easy, then planche (horizontal as well) would get achieved in a similar easy way right? Main question: What’s the science behind why planche is harder if anyone knows and is able to do both skills (front lever and planche)

To much posterior pelvic tilt?
Yo what’s up guys, hope yall doing great . So I was reviewing my planche and I just get this feeling I’m pushing my hips down to much ? Which is why my legs end up curving and I get this weird S shape alignment. Am I correct to believe that based off of this video? i know my protraction isn’t best I’m still working on it, but I’m more concerned on wether my PTT is correct or not?

@Chan Woo Park I thought it about it, but I wanna ask you, does he teach people front lever combo endurance as well? Or just planche

@Chan Woo Park 100% man. Don’t have the finances right now but I’d prefer a coach who has good or crazy endurance in both planche and front lever combos. Thanks for the insights 💪
