Book Awards - 5 Tests to See if They Are Worth It
But remember ... no book award does anything if you don't leverage it. This video was by your request after my video on leveraging book awards came out. I'll put that one below for those that haven't seen it. https://youtu.be/aKkNxKE2jeg

In the past, I've been honored to have the opportunity to "buy" my nomination and award many times. Other programs to watch out for are the anthology angle. How can you say no? You and every other "author" who pays a fee will become a bestselling published author. But don't confuse this with the "we'll work with you to turn your experience into a bestseller — guaranteed!" program. Forbes has an offer that could cost up to six figures. Do your homework!

@K J Yep, I know the guy. He paid $100k by the time he was finished. However, I'm sure his vanity book is a wonderful conversation starter and a welcome addition to his office bookshelf.
What's the Feedback on Books.by?
Books.by ads follow me everywhere. Their pitch is intriguing, but reviews are spotty. Does anyone have any experience with them, or insights?
Influencer Marketing - Is it worth paying for?
There was a great post from an author that spent $44,000 on a book launch and what worked and didn't work, and she shared that influencer marketing was maybe not the best investment. That story combined with an audit of our Amazon Ads performance over the last five years inspired me to share this video. Have you paid an influencer for book promotion? How'd it go?

@Julie Broad What I did with the books: 1) Gifts, but that only works for about a year. 2) Donations to anyone who wanted a handful. 3) Yard sale; had to answer too many "I can't believe you wrote a book" questions. 4) Text for a coaching program. 5) Prospecting tool for my financial advisors - very effective. 6) Built the book into my firm's onboarding kit. Without a doubt, one of the best uses of my books. 7) I used the book to train my best clients as advocates and on how to use the book to refer prospects and new business freely. In the end, this is how I built my practice, recruited advisors, and made a nice income.

@Tommy Ray * I focus on money behavior: how you behave with money matters more than what you know about it or the products you own. I'm working on the second edition of "Confessions of a Reformed Financial Advisor (Yep, It's Mostly BS). Mt target is a late October, or early November release.
