I bought it because at 73, I've had enough of pre-textual traffic stops and other interactions with police (4th Amendment violations) to fish for a reason to punish. It was offered by youtube influencer I watch. Good observation about marketing analysis and what we need to do.

Now that I spend my time writing, I so a lot less reading.

If they want money, that's a pretty solid indicator it's a scam.

@Kevin Hall It's a numbers game. Even a 0.01 % response makes money. And AI makes sending spam faster, cheaper and less hit and miss.

@Bruce Wayne Have you looked into using AI to proofread the book? I find that helps jiggle my thinking. And yeah, it's pretty easy to lose hope and burn up a lot of time.

@Bruce Wayne Your attitude is flirting with the dark edge of the future. Why would you distrust AI any more than people? Just like people, you've got to check what it tells you. My experience is that it is generally reliable but about 200 times faster than me at lindane activities. For proofreading, it is invaluable at catching errors. I will finish the first draft of my third book today and will immediately get Claude to proof it. At this point, I suspect I will only re-read the book 5 to 10 times to tweak wording and add in stuff I forgot. Huge time savings over my rereading to find errors.
