🌿 More Than a Retreat. It’s a Journey Back to Yourself.
Hello, everyone! I’m Tera Carter, founder of Sacred Ground Wellness, where I create intentional spaces for personal growth, healing, connection, and transformation. As a Certified Peer Specialist, wellness coach, trainer, and retreat curator, I’ve spent years supporting people as they navigate life’s transitions, rediscover themselves, and create meaningful change. At Sacred Ground Wellness, our philosophy is rooted in three principles: ✨ Awakening: Deepening our understanding of who we are. 🌿 Liberation: Releasing the expectations, patterns, and beliefs that no longer serve us. 🦋 Transformation: Turning self-discovery into intentional, lasting change. One of the ways I bring this work to life is through immersive wellness retreats. On November 7–8, I’ll be hosting Remember Her, an intimate women’s retreat in Georgia focused on rediscovering who we are, restoring what we’ve neglected, and rising into who we’re becoming. But the work doesn’t end when the retreat does! I’m also growing our online community, where women can connect, reflect, learn, and continue their personal growth journeys through conversations, resources, and virtual experiences. I’d love to connect with women who are ready to invest in themselves, as well as fellow coaches, facilitators, and wellness professionals who believe in the power of transformational spaces. 💜 I’d love to know: When you think about personal transformation, what does that look like for you in this season of life? 🌿 Join our community: https://www.skool.com/sacred-ground-collective-5458/about ✨ Explore our retreats: https://youli.io/t/sacredground-remher/rem-her Tera Carter, CPS-MH Founder, Sacred Ground Wellness

How good a coaching call felt has nothing to do with how effective it was
Best coaching session of the month 🙌🥳. Next week: "I just didn't get round to it." Here's an uncomfortable fact: how good a coaching call felt has nothing to do with how effective it was. A great session is a matchstick. The motivation burns hot and bright, and for a moment you both feel the heat. Then your client walks back into their daily environment: - Full inbox. - Difficult conversation with their team. - Phone buzzing on the desk. The match blows out. You can't heat a house with a matchstick. You need a fireplace: an environment that reinforces the behaviour you want, instead of blocking it. But when the plan fails, most of us reach for a bigger match. A better pep talk. More heat, same predictable result. Nobody ever taught you the difference between a session that feels like it worked and one that did. So after your next call, ask yourself: “Apart from how my client feels, what will actually change about the environment they work in?” If the answer is "nothing", you've only struck a match. If you want to learn more about how to get your clients to ACTUALLY do the work, you should come to the free workshop we’re running on Oct 26th - 7pm UK Click here to sign up
