So it’s been Apple Watch daily the past two weeks as I’ve been a fall risk. Two weeks ago, I had the knee surgery done and once the surgeon got into my knee, he discovered that rather than the expected tears in the ACL, MCL, and meniscus, I had a shredder ACL that, as I was informed yesterday at my two week follow up, caused no stability in my knee and explained 95% of the pain I had been experiencing. Now again, two weeks out, I was told to start putting weight on it, ween off crutches, and they took the restrictions off the brace but I will be wearing the brace for the next two to three months. I’m to go full steam ahead with PT and by medical standards, I’m much farther along than a normal two weeks post op. In fact my surgeon was almost giddy sounding when he looked at my repaired knee and how well it looks now, apparently the first time in almost 30 years that I’ve had a fully functional knee. PT and shorts, can’t get pants over the brace, for the foreseeable future and back to work on Monday.

Going Apple Watch today as it’s easier to navigate on crutches to post op doctors appointments.

@Brett Sutton I couldn't resist...so this is a stretch but stick with me here🤣 this is a throwback to this morning when I took these pics. I had to rush a cat to the vet and forgot to post. That counts right? And if it doesn't, I'm hoping this watch makes everyone smile and forgive me.

So as the title say I told my wife I technically saved us $28,400 (AUD) or close to $20k (USD) because I put them back. She has this argument that says I saved nothing. I am not sure she understand, but I know you marvellous members do 🤣 The IWC Pilots Chronograph ($14,100) was pretty nice, I was amazed at how light it felt, and the Cartier De Santos (14,300) was just next level comfortable with the curve to the case. One can only dream.
