Who’s heard of the “Sell me this Pen” sales training technique? In a recent coaching session, I was working with my skooler on how to fill time and space during the “Yes, no, maybe…” decision time a bidder will have to use to take action. It is our job as auctioneers to constantly work to make that action be a yes or a bid. What you say to motivate that action is an important skill to have.
