Trust Kyle's Process
I passed my first eval last Friday! It took longer than I wanted, but I have myself to blame. I was chasing chart trends and forcing trades when I should have instead slowed down, stepped back, study the chart, and then place a trade and walk away. What Kyle teaches works once you see it happening on the charts in real time 😊

Congratulations @Matthew Roquiz, that's inspiring for all of us. Do you mind sharing a bit about your trading process?
What’s it like after paper trading?
So, I’m just writing to find out what’s it like, trading with prop firms, after paper trading for the 50–100 practice– paper –trades. I’m starting to get used to the tradingview.com interface and want to know if it’s a similar feeling with tools that you use for trading. Are you still using tradingview.com or is it a completely different interface? I’ve still gotta go and watch the props firms video again, just to make sure I’m learning everything I should at the time I should be. I’m just asking to gain further insight before the task is at hand. If it’s not trading view.com, what is it? Also, will I be able to bring or use my favorite indicators? Any and all information would be helpful to know or whatever you feel like sharing… also, how does the alert process work because in the paper trading training option for tradingview.com you can’t actually use alert in replay mode. So I have a question on how that works as far as like when you’re on the prop firm, how does the using alerts and then does it save your information like your zones that you drew or do you have to re-create the zones, starting from scratch?

@Jonathan Guarino Thanks for that info - it's very helpful. Final question, for Superman, for the timeframes, are you doing 60-5 or 60-1?

@Jonathan Guarino Got it, thanks for sharing, I appreciate it. I'm still working on my own style.
Update / Blank Trade Log / Free To A Good Home
Sometimes I forget that everyone doesn't work in IT. My earlier post was more confusing than it needed to be so ... here's a redo. Blank Trade Logs / Two Different Applications: JPG-InvestCEO-Excel-Trade-Log.xlsx JPG-InvestCEO-OpenOffice-Trade-Log.ods I've created my own version of the InvestCEO Trade Log with updates that work for me. Here are the things I changed compared to the InvestCEO log from last year ... 1) Ticker Symbol dropdown (ES, MES, NQ, MNQ, GC, MGC, CL, MCL, YM, MYM). 2) Every calculation in the row updates based on which Ticker Symbol is selected. 3) On the Evaluation and Funded Account Tabs, the fees update automatically with the Ticker Symbol. 4) Each Ticker Symbol grouping (IE: ES and MES) has its own fill color. I personally like it. If you don't though, you can remove them using ... Home > Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules. Note: The OpenOffice version does not have these Ticker Symbol fill colors. 5) Three areas auto-highlight green (positive numbers) and shade red (negative numbers). The three areas are ... Total / Y6 Average / Z6 Profit-Loss Column / Y10 to Y310-ish 6) Every other row is shaded green. Old school Excel style. Can also be removed using ... Home > Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules. 7) Entry Type dropdown. "JediMan" ... don't ask. Completely unauthorized. 😄 8) I moved the "Statistical Summary" to the top and then locked those rows so that they're always there. No need to scroll back up when you have a lot of entries. 9) I've hidden all of the columns that I wasn't using to keep it as clean as possible. They're still there if you need them (and still in the calculations). Just have to unhide them if you want to use them. 10) Tab colors. Just a personal preference.

An update from Kyle
It's been a busy summer so far and just wanted to give a friendly update to the InvestCEO community :) The last handful of months I've been incredibly busy. As many of you know, my "big boy" job is working in my firm as an asset manager and financial planner. I have my own registered/fiduciary asset management firm as well as a private day trading investment fund. I've spent a lot of time this year positioning clients to take advantage of current and future market conditions given all that's going on in the world. With that said, there is so much more I feel I can do for all of you here. So over the next few weeks you're going to start seeing several improvements I've been working on behind the scenes: - Completely updated and improved course material based on today's market conditions. - More zoom sessions around trading strategy and prop firm planning. - "Investment" focused feedback sessions to make sure you don't miss out on market trends. - Community games and prizes. - A complete path to increasing your income, building your assets, and achieving your version of freedom in today's changing world. Stay tuned and stay free, Kyle
