{FP} // 🎁HOLIDAY SURVIVAL PROTOCOL🦃
Structure leads to → Freedom Precision leads to → Progress Identity leads to → Sustainability 1. The Core Rule: Choose Your Anchor Pick ONE non negotiable for the week: → Protein anchor: 30–40g per meal → Steps anchor: 8–10k/day → Training anchor: 2–3 sessions minimum → Hydration anchor: 80–100 oz/day You don’t need to be perfect, you need an anchor. 2. The Two-Aligned Meals Strategy On holiday or event days: → 2 meals aligned (protein + fiber + moderate carbs) → 1 meal flexible (the celebration meal) This keeps you progressing without sacrificing the moment. 3. The 24 Hour Bounce Back Rule After any big meal: → Hydrate aggressively (40–60 oz in the morning) → Hit a long walk >6k steps → Return to normal meals No restriction. No “making up for it.” Just alignment. 4. The “Holiday Plate Framework” Half plate → protein + veggies Quarter plate → carbs Quarter plate → holiday item (bread, stuffing, mac) Then enjoy dessert with zero guilt. 5. The Travel Protocol When traveling: → Pack 2 protein options (bars, shakes, jerky) → Bookend your day with movement (AM 15 mins + PM 15 mins) → Default to “one aligned meal per day” on high chaos days Travel doesn’t break progress, chaos does. 6. The Mindset Shift Holidays don’t ruin progress. Abandoning structure does. The goal isn’t restriction. The goal is alignment. 7. Identity Reminder You’re not trying to survive the holidays — you’re learning to live with structure inside them. That’s what makes the change permanent. → What’s the ONE anchor you’re locking in this week no matter what? Drop it below, structure starts with a single decision. Share it so the rest of the team can stack momentum with you. -Coach Foss

🚨 THE NEED For Instant Gratification Fuels Self Sabotage (and Why Delayed Gratification Sets You Free)
🫆GROUP ZOOM ON SELF SABOTAGE🫆 ‼️WHEN: THUR SEP 11, 7:00 PM PST‼️ 📅WHERE: ZOOM LINK IN CALENDAR 📅 I can’t tell you how many times I’ve told myself: “I’ve been good all week. I deserve A whole pizza and beer.” And in that moment, my brain got exactly what it wanted, comfort, dopamine, relief. Instant gratification. But here’s the truth: those “deserved rewards” were never just one choice. They were the first domino in a self sabotage spiral: 👉 I’d wake up sluggish and bloated. 👉 I’d think “screw it, I already messed up.” 👉 Skipped workouts, more takeout, and guilt piled on until I was back at square one. The pain wasn’t in the calories, it was the loss of self trust. Every time I gave in, I proved to myself that I couldn’t stay consistent. That’s how instant gratification and self sabotage partner up to keep you stuck. But here’s the shift: the opposite of instant gratification isn’t punishment, it’s delayed gratification. 💡 It’s saying no to the quick comfort so you can say yes to the long term reward. 💡 It’s trusting the process even when the “finish line” isn’t visible. 💡 It’s building momentum through small, boring wins that compound into massive results. ‼️Its saying what I want MOST is far more important than what I want RIGHT NOW The end point might feel far away, but every single time you choose to delay the reward, delay the gratification... over the quick hit, you’re strengthening self trust and self belief. You’re proving you can follow through. You are building proof and stacking evidence. That’s how you finally break free of the sabotage loop. 🔥 That’s exactly what we’ll unpack this Thursday night on our Rewiring Self Sabotage group zoom call. If you’re tired of letting one “I deserve this” moment spiral into weeks of lost progress, you won’t want to miss it. ✍️ Journal Prompt Where in your life are you choosing instant gratification over long term fulfillment? Think in your career, relationships, choices, goals... And how has it led to self sabotage in the past?

Faith. Balance. Surrender. But Most of All. COMMUNITY
Back in January, I shared this vision board with the intention of stepping into the most authentic, aligned, and unstoppable version of myself in 2025. Looking at it now, the word that jumps out at me most isn’t faith, freedom, or even surrender… it’s community. This year has already shown me that none of this journey means much without people to walk alongside. I can chase freedom, purpose, balance, and growth but without a community to share it with, it’s empty. And I don’t say that lightly. There have been moments this year where I’ve felt stretched thin, uncertain, even questioning whether I was enough to lead and show up for others. But every time, this community reminded me that I don’t have to carry it alone. The messages, the shares, the accountability, the trust you’ve placed in me, it’s been life giving in ways I can’t put into words. I’m reminded daily that “you go further when you go together.” That’s not just a catchy phrase for me, it’s become a lifeline. And the fact that each of you chooses to show up here, to not just focus on your own journey but to pour into others, tells me this isn’t just my vision board anymore, it’s ours. So I want to say thank you. Thank you for being part of this, for reminding me that community isn’t just a word on a board, it’s the heartbeat of everything we’re building. As I look at the rest of 2025, I feel a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility. Gratitude for this space, and responsibility to keep showing up with faith, with balance, with surrender, but most importantly, with all of you in mind. Let’s keep becoming the experience, together. 🙏❤️ -Coach Foss Journal Prompt👇🏻 Where in your journey do you feel alone right now and what would shift if you let others truly support you? 👣FAMILIAR HELL vs UNFAMILIAR HEAVEN
Your brain is wired for safety, not transformation. That’s why you’ll often catch yourself holding onto routines that you know are slowing down your progress. Even if those routines are painful and often have regret around them… skipping workouts, finding emotional comfort in the cupboard, obsessing over the scale, or falling back into “all or nothing” dieting… these feel safe. Why? Because they’re familiar. They’re predictable. They’re who you’ve been. Here’s the paradox: - The familiar hell feels safer than the unfamiliar heaven. - Comfort (skipping the gym, choosing the quick fix, eating what’s easiest) often wins over growth. - The brain craves what it knows, not what’s best for you. And that’s why change in fitness feels so threatening. Tracking macros, sticking to a workout plan, setting boundaries, or breaking free from restrictive diets shakes your core identity. It demands you to step into a version of yourself you haven’t fully lived in yet. But here’s the truth: the results you want live on the other side of that discomfort. Building strength, fueling your body properly, and trusting the process won’t always feel comfortable, but they’re exactly what pull you out of the cycle you’ve been stuck in. 🚀Community Challenge This Week🚀 Reflect and share below👇🏻 1. Where in your health and fitness are you clinging to something familiar, even though you know it doesn’t serve you? 2. What’s one small action you can take this week that feels uncomfortable but moves you closer to the version of yourself you want to be? Drop your answers in the comments so we can hold you accountable, because you go further when you go together. 💪 -Coach Foss❤️🚀

The one thing i continue to cling to is drinking on the weekends, with a certain aunt of mine. I have always been like her go to girl to hang with. But since i have been in my health journey she makes it hard for me. It’s the peer pressure, but I am learn to say NO to her.
THE COST OF RUNNING FROM YOUR WEAKNESS INSTEAD OF LEANING INTO IT
Maybe it’s consistency in your nutrition, in your tracking, or in saying no. Maybe it’s discipline in training and exercise adherence. Maybe it’s the voice in your head saying: “This won’t work. Why even keep going?” Awareness always comes before adjustments. But, the crazy part? Once we’ve identified the weak link, instead of facing it… most people STILL run from it. They disguise it. They overcompensate with their strengths and hope the bottleneck magically disappears. We distract ourselves with the areas that feel safer. We double down on the gym when deep down we know food is the bottleneck. We get sidelined due to life or injuries or from overtraining, and instead of using that as the perfect opportunity to fully surrender to nutrition, we use it as a scapegoat to go all or nothing and abandon our goals. That last story was anecdotal, that was me. That was my story. Avoidance plagued me. I’ve obsessed over macros when I knew it was really my mindset holding me back. I buried myself in busy work at my jobs while avoiding the one skill that could truly move my career forward. Most recently, in my business, it was content. I hated it. I despised it. I sucked at it. But I know that it is the vehicle to more growth. Running a business there are so many different areas, tasks and skills .. So I doubled down on marketing, outreach, and classroom lessons. But deep down I knew I was running. The second I leaned into it, everything shifted. Avoidance feels safer and it’s way easier. It lets us feel productive without addressing the root. But here’s the truth: the growth you want is waiting in the exact place you’re avoiding. I used to do this with teaching too. I’d procrastinate on the important meetings and tasks, disguising weak points by “over performing” elsewhere. And I thought if I just did enough of the other stuff, maybe it would compensate. But it never did. It just led to a ridiculous amount of self induced stress. The bottleneck is the bottleneck until you face it. Period.

I most definitely have been running! It’s hard to face the reality of what is really standing In your way. It’s me I am my own worst enemy.
