Where are you compromising yourself?
I've been in contemplation of the 14th Gene Key and the shadow of compromise. I've worked with this key many times before, yet there's always new insights that shine through. Whether you have this key in your profile or not, it's worth the contemplation as it asks us an important question: where are you compromising yourself? Compromise happens whenever we trade our inner truth for comfort, security or approval. It happens: Every time you say yes when your entire body is saying no. Every time you silence your truth to avoid disappointing someone. Every time you remain in a relationship, career or environment you have already outgrown. Every time you make yourself smaller so others can remain comfortable. Every time you choose what looks successful over what feels deeply aligned. Most of these compromises seem insignificant in the moment, but over time, they accumulate. Eventually, we can find ourselves living a life that looks acceptable from the outside yet feels hollow within. We feel exhausted, uninspired or resentful without fully understanding why. Often, this is the cost of repeatedly abandoning what we know to be true. The shadow of compromise also reveals where we are misusing our life-force energy. The 14th Gene Key is deeply connected to competence—the ability to direct our gifts and energy toward what genuinely serves life. When our energy is invested in what isn’t aligned, it becomes depleted. When it's devoted to what is true, it begins to multiply. This doesn’t mean recklessly leaving everything behind or following every passing impulse. It means becoming honest about the places where fear has been making our decisions for us. So I invite you to sit with these questions: - Where am I saying yes when I really mean no? - Where am I choosing security at the expense of my aliveness? - Where am I shrinking my truth or gifts to remain accepted? - What do I already know needs to change? - What becomes possible when I stop compromising myself.

@Christopher August This is perfect follow up to the recent podcast about being a Seeker. I’ve been receiving the message “Be seen, be heard”. Today I took action and posted an IG reel on breath. Going to keep a theme and post a few times a week. I could feel the resistance and was going to hold off for another day but I remembered “cultivate the courage to act” so I posted. Thank you again. 🙏Grateful to be in this space.
GK 60 line 4
Hey everyone! I caught the replay later yesterday on Venus sequence. This morning as I sat in stillness, I began to see how my Politucian shadow(line 4) weaves into my shadow of limitation (GK 60) The shadow of limitation for me is seen in rigidity, staying stuck and as I reflect, the masks of the Politician also keep me stuck. Holding back expansion into my fullness. When I can let go of masks, allow the Nurturer, the opposite of Politucian, I am free to be authentically me. The structure isn’t a cage but a platform to build upon. My relationships are showing me those parts where the masks still need to be removed. When the Nurturer is present, I am able to care for myself and others, all the parts of me and love all of them. The parts of me that need to be seen. It’s beautiful. Understanding this even as I know this is just a tiny piece. Much love to you all!! Grateful for the teachings and for this space. 🙏 Just one additional follow up… I feel empowered right now. Having the awareness is the first step and I am grateful. I also did the Limitless breathwork on Beats and Breath app afterwards. What an amazing way to seal this wisdom and embody it. During this track, you take a moment to envision your limitless self. I am grateful for where I am in this moment and knowing my limitless self is here too.
Trusting The Intelligence of Life | Gene Key 2
I have officially released the next video in my series ‘Living The Keys.’ In this one I dropped into the essence of the 2nd Gene Key. Would love to hear your thoughts ⬇️ P.S. we are in production right now developing the breathwork for each key. That will be coming soon.

This GK really supported our discussion on Tues night. The audio was great as well. You can’t do anything wrong. It’s all perfect! And love without agenda. Just love. So beautiful. Flow like water unattached. 🥰

I just did the replay. So grateful! I’ve done some inner child work however this time, anger came through. I don’t think this has happened before. Anger was around vulnerability. It has brought me to a new space of exploration and connection with my little girl. 🙏

Leaning into discomfort
Hey everyone! I wanted to share an amazing and powerful insight, download . I am still integrating but here is what happened... I was attending a women's circle for the Solstice. A gathering of 9 women. it was picturesque. Weather was cool, sun shining and we met at a park. I went to this event to support a friend of mine not realizing how impactful it would be. the event itself was wonderful, providing connection, insight, I learned about some local plants and their medicinal purposes. However, a few practical situations also arose, one lady was 20 min late due to a tecnical mishap with address, so we started late. It was crowded at the park bc of another event so it created a swirl of commotion so as our event progressed, I found myself not fully present but I really "tried" and I believe @Christopher August refers to this as forcing and that's how it seemed. I just couldn't drop in. I wanted to and still received much from the event but as the sun lowered, I found myself starting to feel anxious bc I have a routine in the evening, I teach early on. Thursday mornings. I took a deep breath nd. told. myself "you're ok, you can be out later, you can do something different". I. managed. to make it through, participate and the whole event was so nice and very needed for some in the group. When I got home, I did my few things and went to bed only to wake up a couple of hours later, restless bc a voice said "lean into discomfort" this is something Richard talks about in GK 56. I allowed my distraction of the little things(the time, my routine) to take my attention away from the opportunity to connect deeper with these souls that chose to be together. Its time to let go of the rigidness, embrace the presence ... here is the gift of enrichment. Here is the siddhi of intoxication. I cried, I thanked myself, I eventually dozed off. Today I am feeling lighter, so much more present and I am leaning into discomfort, holding my young Tracey's hand, and recognizing my "good routines and practices" can be useful and a distraction. I must tune in. Here's to stepping into freedom. 🙏

@Heidi Spellman yes!! It’s been showing up for me in daily activities so I can recognize it and also practice responding differently. Feeling the emotion and then feeling that freedom.
