$240/month was leaking through failed payments
One of the sneakier ways to grow a Skool community might have nothing to do with getting more members. Someone shared that they started using Skoot about two weeks ago. They set up one pretty boring automation: When a member’s payment fails, remind them. That’s it. In two weeks, it helped recover 10 members. About $240 in MRR. And I think the interesting part is why those members were about to disappear. They didn’t necessarily want to cancel. Sometimes the card expired. Sometimes there was a small payment issue. Which means those 10 people weren’t really “churn.” They were customers who wanted to stay… but needed a nudge to fix something. Makes me wonder how many Skool owners are spending all their energy trying to add $240 in new MRR while quietly losing the same amount through stuff like this. More content, outreach, ads, and sales calls. Meanwhile, some of the easiest revenue may already belong to you. You just haven’t collected it yet. That’s one use of Skoot I hadn’t really thought much about before. Worth checking your failed payments and seeing how many of those members could still be saved.

I can’t imagine living without Skoot now!
Reactivating dormant skool
Hi @Travis Sago, I acquired a free German Skool group on how to build and monetize Skool communities with 2300 members. A few years ago it was the first German group to win the Skool games. However, it’s been dormant last year and now there are maybe 20-30 active members only it seems. Also: Germans are very different from Americans culturally. Very direct, highly skeptical, with a distaste for sales and marketing, very sensitive to hype, and much more narrow-minded when it comes to these matters. What works your approach be during the first month of taking over, when your goal is to reactivate the dormant members and to monetize the group.

@Hamoon Zargaran Javaher make them PART OF the new transition. Ask THEM what they'd like to see? POLLS are the most ideal way...put some ideas in the poll and also leave one answer as "Other" and have them comment. The first thing I look for is... What is the COMMON PROBLEM? What is going to be OUR UNCOMMON way of solving it. For example: In our community: Common Problem: Retiring before we are OLD AF! UNCOMMON SOLUTION: Retiring from the income of ONE COMMUNITY. So... I'd read in between the lines of the poll looking for those TWO things.

@Hamoon Zargaran Javaher hard work compared to WHAT? I cleaned shitters, fought fires and chipped paint in the Navy! 😆 Running an auction is child’s play. We are always contrasting the cost of their CURRENT plan with our NEW plan.
Your 1st $500 in Recurring Passive Income
@Tan Hopper and I are putting something together for you... But... We're wondering if it's too small potatoes? 📰Skool has made some SICK changes recently... Which makes it dead simple to add $500 monthly (give or take)... Recurring income to your community in 30 days... ✅Whether it's one you just start... or... ✅An existing community you've already got. $500 recurring is just month ONE. It's super passive too. (No Zooms, calls or service delivery required.) Does $500 a month every month to start... 👉Get your motor running at all? 👇👇👇

AI Fatigue
Reason #154 running a community is my #1 fave investment. AI Fatigue Don't ya think that the MORE AI there is... ...the MORE peeps will want to hang out with real peeps? The internet STARTED as Bulletin Boards, Usenet groups and forums. It's not a matter of WHEN an offer or product dies... And many products are dying FASTER with AI... But I ask? What will be even MORE VALUABLE? What will LAST another 20 to 100 years? People connecting with and helping people. Does that mean I think we shouldn't have AI products, services and software? Not at all... I'm saying... The product WILL die. To THRIVE long-term... We want to focus on PEOPLE. Agree? Disagree? Rooting For Ya, Travis

Excited to be here!
Hey what’s up guys. Excited to be in this community and creating the “I own the distribution” money (as far as I can tell, nothing else comes close) I have a few communities and assets that I own/control. I didn’t build any of them. I either bought them or got control from a “tired digital landlord”. I have a Facebook group of ≈11k local businesses A Facebook group of 32k small businesses in Florida (even though I don’t live there lol. humidity is my hell) An email list of 13k small business owners interested in marketing and growth And a Facebook group of 223k Dog owners. I’ve monetized them with different deals that I’ve negotiated (better pricing, bonuses, financing) like marketing services, software, funding, dog insurance, veterinary care, etc. Really excited to dive into the auction stuff and get connected with the folks here.
