She almost deleted her community in June
Jenny Rader-Bakos told her husband it was a waste of time. All the effort going in, nothing coming back unless she was the one posting. He told her it was her passion. She stayed. Engagement in Rooted & Wild now runs somewhere between 85 and 90 per cent. The full conversation is up now: How Jenny Turned a Quiet Community Around. A few things she said that are worth your time: The comments are where the magic happens, not the posts. She's active in about ten other communities and sits near the top of most leaderboards. People read a good comment, click the profile, find the community. She never uses stock images. She photographs the process, not just the finished plate, because people who only see the finished thing decide they couldn't do it themselves. She runs a five-day posting plan so she never sits there wondering what to post. Monday through Friday, each day has a job; weekends off. Her first workshop was a Monday idea that ran on the Thursday, and two people turned up. She recorded it and shared the replay anyway. That's the moment things changed. Worth 30 minutes if you're in the quiet stage she was in back in June. If you want more of these, subscribe to the channel while you're there. Jenny's own community is Rooted & Wild if you want to see how she runs it. Check out our brand-new YouTube channel and hit subscribe while you're there. SUBSCRIBE HERE

@Des Dreckett @Jenny Rader-Bakos thank you for loved watching and learning from your experience. Congrats Jenny 🚀
Got an affiliate link and no idea what to post with it?👇
Hey gang, we're thinking about adding an Affiliate Classroom - ready-made tools, prompts, and images you could use to promote your affiliate link without starting from scratch each time. Would that actually be useful? Curious where everyone lands on this.

Our top affiliates aren't doing anything complicated. They're just consistent.
Here's the actual pattern, if you want to copy it: 1. They post about SED every week. Not once and forgotten - a regular mention keeps them front of mind. 2. They share the bulletin. Every Saturday, straight into their own community, with their link attached. 3. They actually run events. Referring people works better when you're a living example of why SED is worth it. 4. They add a CTA or QR code into their own events. A slide, a mention, a scan - turns every event they host into a referral moment. 5. The biggest one - they personally message people. Not a blast. A quick "thought this might be useful for you" to someone they actually think would benefit. This one outperforms everything else on the list. None of this is complicated. It's just repeated, and it's personal. Grab your affiliate link from your Skool profile and give one of these a try this week. Shout out to @Lidia Axe and @Michelle Spark, who are doing a fantastic job, and we appreciate your support and our other sponsors! 👏

@Heather Wilson I would love to thank you.
My Surprise And Biggest Announcement Yet 👀
Heather How are you all doing? And we're here on my final big announcement, I'm really interested to know if anyone has guessed it yet. What do you reckon, Des? Have you guessed it yet? Des I think so. Yeah, I've got an idea. You got a good idea? Heather Well, on top of up leveling on premium, and going pro. I have also— we've added like the 3 Ps, haven't we? Sort of premium, pro, and then the final one is partnership. Des Yay! Heather So Des and I have joined in partnership here on Skool Events Daily, and I'm gonna get Des to explain more about why and what he's gonna be doing because this is gonna going to be his role. But I am still in the front, I am still running Skool Events Daily. So you're not getting rid of this sort of lovely, beautiful face and exchanging it for Des's, although Des's will appear. Thankfully, I will let him appear every so often. Fire away, Des. Why, why have we joined in partnership? Des Yeah, sure. Thanks. Thanks a lot. And yeah, really exciting. And I think it's something we spoke about a few weeks ago. And we have been speaking about and it's been finalized. So one of the main reasons is I've been an admirer of the community for quite a while now. I absolutely love the model. I absolutely love the way we're able to actually promote lots of different communities and just obviously network as well. And I also like you, Heather, and otherwise I wouldn't have— we wouldn't be doing this. So it's— I don't know, I just think there's a massive opening for events. There are a couple of communities that are doing it, but I think it can be done better. And as you were saying, I'm not going to be at the forefront. I'll be in the background, hopefully helping with the marketing side of things, but you will still be running it. You'll be the face of the community. And yeah, nothing really changes for anyone really, but hopefully some new exciting things coming in the latter part of 2026. Heather Definitely. I mean, from our conversations, we have so many ideas that we are gonna bring forth. And what we have done this week is just really the start of it. But we really do want to sharpen things up and remove a lot of friction and make it a smoother journey, not just for people holding events, but also for people coming in and looking for the type of event that they want. But what I love about working with you, Des, is that you have a lot of tech ideas and everything, which I don't have. And you bring in a lot of experience, like you said, on the marketing side, but also in relation to events that you hold yourself. And Des is gonna appear on a regular basis doing some events, and we're going to expand to bringing events into— as in holding events in Skool Events Daily as well. So we're gonna be a really good platform for that. But we're not going to give too many of our secrets away at the moment, but this is our big surprise. Theirs is my big secret.

18th June — Replay: Grow Faster With Live Events
Last night's session in The Skool Classifieds is now available to watch. We covered how to grow your Skool community by presenting in other people's communities - without cold outreach, paid ads, or creating content from scratch every time. What we went through: How to borrow authority from established communities by solving real problems for their members. The three-part pitch formula that gets community owners to say yes. The exact promotional posting sequence to maximise attendance. How to turn every guest presentation into an affiliate revenue opportunity. How to use AI tools to write your outreach, your promo posts, and build interactive tools that make you look like an expert on the spot. This is one of the fastest ways to grow a community that most people overlook. The replay is below 👇 If you want to see how this fits into a wider YouTube-to-Skool growth system, The Content Revenue Lab is free to join: https://tinyurl.com/TheContentRevenueLab Here's the free pitch tool - https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/2bb16ade-37b7-453d-808c-3365d1763b3d Des Dreckett - The Content Revenue Lab
