For most Chinese members, I think we'd better start from Pirf lessons. For example, I started from 8-week Pirf. It is much more easier to get confidence from our study. Especially coaches encouraged and praised me, I felt so strong and happy, and got a lot of energy to push myself for further study. Be honest, DDM is truly hard. It's about daily English, native speakers talking about something around their life. Speaking and listening, they are 2 different paths. I've got that frustrating feeling when I listened to DDM the first time. That was the most terrible and horrible experience that I had about learning English. At that moment I was not sure if I could hold it. I lost my confidence. So for a long time I have been doing psychological construction. I told myself"It's absolutely impossible if you wanna be a fatty at once. The goal of English improvement is not exactly clear. You need to make it in details. 1st, have a better understanding about your level. Second, Make a tiny step for each DDM, Maybe a perfect pronunciation improvement, or some new vocabulary. 3rd, Never compared to other members, just compare to yourself yesterday. 4th, After you've finished the DDM, you'd better listen to many times, Just using pieces of time." For new learners, You'd better make a decision for a lifelong study, not a period of time. Because we are new ones we haven't mastered the ability of English, so that's why we're here,we need to face challenges,we need to make mistakes a lot. That's the only path to learn English. Take it easy,Don't pressure yourself. It's very common when you don't understand what they're talking about. Cause we are English babies.
