Hi everyone! For those who don't know me, I'm Bill Roberts, founder of Roberts Coaching & Consulting. I'm a certified Life and Leadership Coach, and I work with LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies who are burned out, navigating a midlife crisis, or in the middle of a big transition. My goal is to help guide them to their Future Self with more joy, vitality, and happiness along the way. That's what I call Future Self coaching. Instead of the usual goal setting, I ask clients to get specific about who they're becoming, then we work backward: what does that person need from you today, in your habits, your boundaries, how you show up as a leader. It sounds simple, but it changes how people make decisions day to day. The question I keep coming back to is: what does the person I'm becoming need from me today? What I care about most is helping people be their authentic selves while they build the life they actually want, and living well now, not just once everything's figured out. In practice that looks like rebuilding self-trust and confidence, moving through burnout and feeling stuck, creating accountability without shame, navigating career and life transitions, leading with more authenticity and emotional intelligence, and turning personal insight into consistent action instead of letting it stay theoretical. I spent almost 30 years running teams in retail and sales before this, and it taught me something that shapes everything I do now: growth doesn't come from pushing harder or having it all together. It comes from actually being honest with yourself. I'm not coaching from theory. I've been in the rooms my clients are trying to lead in. Inclusion is an important part of my business. A lot of us have learned to hide parts of ourselves to fit in, at work and elsewhere. I coach people to stop doing that, and to find ways to live and lead authentically while staying safe in today's environment. Right now, I'm focused on building my client base within this community. I'm also open to networking and joint ventures with other LGBTQ-founded businesses. Always happy to support other members here too.
