Hosts lose time, food, seats. “I’ll be there” is free, so it’s cheap to flake. ➡️The product ShowIn is a Mini App inside Nimiq Pay. 1. Host creates an event and sets a NIM stake. 2. Guest joins by staking that NIM. 3. Host checks people in. 4. Settle: everyone who showed gets refunded. No-show stakes are split among people who came. 5. Anyone who doesn't show will forfeit his/her NIM which will be shared amongst the attendees. One line: Stake NIM. ShowIn. We’re all familiar with paying it forward: doing something kind for someone we may never meet. But what about the people beside us? The person who checked in, the friend who quietly showed up, the colleague who made a difficult day easier, the person we appreciate but perhaps haven’t actually told. That’s why I built Pay It Sideways. Think of one person. Write them a private thank-you or kind message. If you want, add a little NIM -without asking for their wallet address. One private link carries it to them. Then they choose what follows: - Keep it—claim the NIM and accept the kindness they deserve. - Pass it sideways—write a fresh message for somebody else, with words alone or an optional new NIM gift. No public profiles. No leaderboards. No pressure to give anything back. Just a private chain of people noticing people. So, what would you do? Would you add some NIM to the next act of kindness?
