You DON"T need to be sore in order to gain strength! Soreness is not the goal. Progress is. A great strength workout doesn't have to leave you unable to walk the next day. Instead of judging your workout by how sore you are, start paying attention to: • Are you lifting a little more weight over time? • Are you performing more reps with good form? • Does an exercise feel more controlled? • Are you recovering well enough to train consistently? • Are you becoming more confident with movements that used to feel difficult? Muscle is built through progressive challenge + adequate recovery + consistency—not by trying to destroy yourself every workout. Especially as we get older, the goal isn't to prove how hard we can train for one day. It's to build a body that can keep getting stronger for decades. Remember: Muscle Matters. Let's get stronger, not older.
🎓 CAMPUS LESSON
STOP CHASING NEW WORKOUTS One of the biggest mistakes I see women make when they're trying to change their bodies? They change their workouts too often. A workout doesn't stop working just because you've done it before. In fact, repeating many of the same exercises for a period of time gives you the opportunity to actually get better at them. 🦋 BUILD STRENGTH — You can gradually increase weight, reps, or improve your execution. 🦋 TRACK PROGRESS — It's much easier to see whether you're improving when you're repeating key movements. 🦋 IMPROVE TECHNIQUE — Practice matters. Better movement quality can help you get more out of an exercise. 🦋 CREATE PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD — Your muscles need a reason to adapt. Gradually asking them to do more provides that stimulus. 🦋 GET RESULTS — Consistency gives your training enough time to actually work. Variety isn't bad. Randomness is. A good training program should have structure, progression, and enough consistency for you to measure whether you're getting stronger. 🦋 TODAY'S CAMPUS QUESTION Do you track the weights and reps you use during your workouts—or do you usually just remember what you did? Tell me below! I want to know. 👇 and Save this Graphic to keep/share with a friend

Today's lesson is a simple reminder that protein isn't just about building muscle. After 40, protein plays an important role in maintaining strength, supporting recovery, promoting bone health, increasing satiety, and helping us age well. Small, consistent habits add up over time. Take a look at today's lesson below, and then I'd love to hear from you... Campus Question: What's your favorite healthy source of protein? Or... What's one way you try to include more protein in your day? I can't wait to read your responses! — Holly
