I’m on my way out of town on a last minute work trip and I thought I’d grace my fellow passengers with some Chanel Allure Sport Eau Extreme. It’s been a minute since I’ve worn this and I was really missing it today, so that’s what I went with before heading out to the airport. One and a half sprays to each arm and four light sprays around my neck. I absolutely love its mix of citrus, mint, vanilla, musk, light aromatics, and creamy woods. It’s a few hours until my flight so it should die down by the time I board. But part of me is hoping it won’t - everyone on the plane should enjoy the delight that is this banger. Every. Single. Person.

@Raymond Reeves was super kind to send this to me. I've been enjoying a decant of PDM Percival over the summer, but the OG is too expensive for my usual budget. Montagne is, quite literally, the next best thing. I've heard that it is very similar to A&F Fierce, and I can tell that it is definitely inspired by it. There's a bit of that 1990's / 2000's mallrats scent to it. I used to kind of hate that, but over the years, it's really grown on me, and now it's a good nostalgia that brings back some of the friendlier memories and good times wandering around the mall with my friends and girlfriend. The nice thing here is that the dry down shifts quite a bit away from that and becomes a very fresh, lavender, clean soapy scent that's great for hot summer days or being at the office when you need something that won't offend anybody. Just keep the sprays light as the projection in the opening is incredibly strong, and it's quite easy to choke people out if you go too heavy. This is definitely a Top 10 in the clone department for me. It's taking a place of pride next to my other Montagne bottles.

I like to keep an eye on pending TMs for perfumes to see what's coming up. Note there's no guarantee all of these will be released. My boy Ralph Lauren once had a whole line of flankers planned around Polo Explorer series and scrapped them, much to my disappointment. I have these and the Pinewood and Sea Salt are excellent, the Rose is fine, probably be a hit for rose lovers. There's also a Polo Earth Verbena that released a few weeks ago in China, but no pending US TM for that one - I've got a bottle on the way. I reached out to RL CS (both US and EU) and they couldn't tell me anything about them seeing a US release. RL US didn't even know they existed.
