⚠️Hotfix for MacOs⚠️
Hey Apple hoomans,
as we all know you guys are special and wonderful because you are using apple products .. 😂
(are you on mac?)
Yet again we needed to fix something that shouldn't be fixed or be broken but MacOs had other plans..
We wouldn't be who we are if we hadn't also fixed that part aswell. You may have encountered the same bug/issue ran into - the update service didn't work..
So we fixed it BUT here's is a little twist to it - you need to delete your old catknows. folder and download the newest version in order to make it work in the future.
Here's exactly what you do now:
- delete your catknows. folder (or keep it as an ancient relict)
- head over to https://cat-knows.com/ and download version 0.0.11 (yes it took us that many versions to figure it out)=
- run catknows. and enjoy
The only small hiccup here is that you will start with a fresh database but there were no ways around it in order to make the automated update service run in the future seemingless.
We are happy to have found another apple fEaTUre that nobody needs or wanted to have in the first place.. cheers 😂
