email first, call 24 hours later, not the same day
small detail in this build that i think does a lot of the work. the system doesnt email and ring on the same day. the email goes out, then the voice agent calls that same prospect 24 hours later, so by the time the phone rings theyve already seen your name in their inbox. thats the difference between a cold call and a follow up. same call, completely different reception, and its just a delay in the workflow. whole thing: https://youtu.be/CnqQ7-iFEXA

what an ai cold call actually costs now
numbers people usually guess wrong on, so sharing them. scraping 50 businesses off google maps with reviews and contact details: about 5 minutes. writing and sending a personalised email per lead: roughly 2 cents each. an ai voice actually ringing the lead and handling the conversation: about 25 cents a call. whole stack, around 30 a month. apify, claude, n8n, supabase, vapi, twilio. the point isnt that its cheap, its that "too expensive to personalise at scale" stopped being true this year. if youre still sending merge-field emails youre now competing with people who arent. breakdown here: https://youtu.be/CnqQ7-iFEXA
