Instead of me doing the demo, I will let my other me talks🙂👌

The demo you may have missed, and a tool to break, and a huge thanks.
Most of you who follow me know I run my agency Collideascope on an ICM. Fewer know about the fork: Collideascope's Brand Guardian, an MCP our clients use. Once we uncover a client's brand voice and write it down, it lives in the MCP and connects to whatever harness they work in. Almost 2 years in development, we soft-launched in the spring, then took our own medicine. We interviewed our customers, listened to why they buy from us, and rewrote our messaging from that. It changes how we sell. We also now offer AI enablement alongside brand messaging and the Brand Guardian. The result is a new website. https://collideascope.co/brand-messaging/ None of this would be possible without Jake and the Clief Notes community; I've learned so much over the last 8 months. I also wanted to share The Office demo. A lot of you missed the live Office demo this summer. Part of it is in the Bullhorns & Bullseyes season finale, which went live today, and the Dunder Mifflin demo starts around 43:45. Mid-demo at 55 min, Anthropic went down. I opened the same folder in ChatGPT Codex, where I'd never run it. It routed the task to Ryan's room, checked for a price sheet, and wrote back-to-school posts for the seasonal paper discount. It pulled the brand voice from the files without being asked. The unscripted demo proved that files and folders are what matter, not the tool you're using. https://bullhornsbullseyes.com/p/s3e8-the-synthesis-of-systems Last, a favor. Dusty is one of the roles in my ICM whose job is Governance. We built an AI readiness assessment which is now live: 17 questions, no name or email required, and Dusty is alongside to chat while you go. Play with both and tell me what you think, including what breaks. I'm not asking anyone to buy anything. I want feedback from people who build these things. https://dusty.collideascope.co

Did my first Jake style video!
Jake's video with a sprinkle of hyperframes and ta-dam! It's just amazing what we can do now... (Note: I would love to use my own voice with elevenlabs, but I'm sick and sound like a walrus...)

Just files and folders
Yesterday I finished Phase 4 of a little ICM Knowledge System MVP I’m building. One of the last tests was very simple. Start a completely fresh Codex session and type only: “Let’s continue with the work we were doing.” No recap. No task ID. No explanation of where we left off. Nothing, Nada, Zilch. 🥁Drums please.... It worked 💪. The new session found the project state, worked out where I was, found the next unfinished item, noticed that it needed my approval before continuing, and stopped to ask. The funny part is that there’s no magic memory here or multi agent system. It’s just a bunch of files and folders. 😄 And it's super exciting to see it working in front of you. The AI didn’t remember the previous conversation. The project had enough context, state and instructions written down that a completely new session could work out what was going on. I pushed it a little further afterwards and the brand new session was able to discover multiple unfinished task states without me telling it where they were. At the same time it refused to guess which task I wanted to continue with when that wasn’t clear. So my takeaway from this one: The AI doesn’t need to remember the project if the project remembers itself.

First Client: New Business Unlocked
A FEW WEEKS AGO... I posted that I had made a business, spun-off of one of my competition entries. Full disclosure, it's not exactly any of them (if you happen to go look). I just took what I had learned while building and applied it to a business strategy I wanted to try. And you know what!? I got a client. It's the first client I've gotten for another venture, outside of the main business I've been running. Considering I have spent 10's of thousands of dollars on other "tests," over the years, this was a HUGE win to actually make money from something. AND NOW I BUILD... Now I'm using ICM to automate the dumb stuff and enrich the good stuff. I'm constantly asking myself if what I'm building make sense, or if I'm falling into the trap that Jake talks about, where folks overbuild or build something that doesn't matter. I am pretty sure I'm doing it right because newer AI models won't affect what I've made, except to streamline the dumb stuff more... Anyway, I'm looking at the unit-economics of the business I'm building now, based off this one client that I'm trying to give the most amazing experience to, and I am blown away by the potential. It feels like it can't be real. I'm probably putting the cart before the house, so to speak, but I can't help to be optimistic looking at the numbers, of which, I will admit, I'm making a lot of assumptions about. SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES... I have been studying business for a long time now, to try to understand how riches are truly made beyond what the typical small-business owner does (average is like $50K a year or something). I feel I will lose my mind if it takes me 20 years to build wealth because I had tunnel vision and chose a very slow moving vehicle to get me there. And look, I know it's *all* hard, the grass is always greener, yadda yadda yadda (Seinfeld, anyone?), but it's still true that there ARE easier opportunities to make wealth. There just are. I've come back to this fact time and time again while searching for my next business model.... In simple business terms, if your CAC (cost to acquire a customer) is extremely low, 0, or even negative, and your LTGP (lifetime gross profit -- what the client pays you in total, for the entire duration they use your business) is high, then you're printing money. And if the profit margins are 80% or more? Then you're swimming in gold.
