DAY 16: HOW TO HOLD PEOPLE IN YOUR LIVE
Yesterday was about getting comfortable going LIVE. Today we’re working on the skill that separates a dead LIVE from a growing LIVE: KEEPING PEOPLE IN THE ROOM. Going LIVE is easy. Holding attention is the skill. If people enter and leave immediately, TikTok has very little reason to keep sending people into your room. So today we’re focusing on creating a LIVE that gives people a reason to stay. TODAY’S LESSON: YOUR LIVE NEEDS STRUCTURE Stop thinking LIVE means: Turn camera on. Wait for people. Read comments. Hope something happens. YOU are the host. That means YOU control the energy. Before you go LIVE, know: What you’re talking about Who the LIVE is for What people will get from staying What questions you’re going to ask What you’re going to talk about if the chat slows down The audience should never have to rescue your LIVE. TASK 1: CREATE YOUR 3 PART LIVE PLAN Before going LIVE today, write down: PART 1: THE HOOK What are you talking about? Example: “Tonight I’m showing new creators the three biggest mistakes keeping them under 1,000 followers.” PART 2: THE VALUE Write down THREE points you’re going to teach, discuss or demonstrate. PART 3: THE CONVERSATION Write down FIVE questions you can ask your viewers. Examples: “What are you struggling with most on TikTok?” “How many followers are you at right now?” “What kind of content do you create?” “What’s your biggest goal this month?” “What’s keeping you from going LIVE?” Never rely on people randomly giving you something to talk about. TASK 2: MASTER THE FIRST 60 SECONDS The first minute matters. Do NOT sit there saying: “Where everybody at?” “Can y’all hear me?” “I’m waiting for some more people to come in.” Start your show IMMEDIATELY. Example: “If you’re trying to grow your TikTok, tonight I’m breaking down the three things I would change if my account was stuck under 1,000 followers. Drop your follower count in the chat and I’m going to help a few people tonight.” Now somebody entering knows exactly what is happening.

Day 22 Tic Tok challenge!
Day 22! Who’s ready for it? Day 21 was kinda blah for me for some reason 😂. I don’t know what happened, but that’s part of the journey. Not every day is going to be a great day. I’m not letting one off day stop me. We’re still showing up, still learning, and still pushing forward. Who’s ready for Day 22? Let’s get it! 🫡
