10+ calls a week from one simple welcome question
Welcome DMs try to move too fast. “Hey, welcome!” Then almost immediately: “Want to jump on a call?” One Skool owner changed the order and it’s now booking him 10+ calls a week. First, welcome them. Then ask: “What made you join?” Now they tell you what they actually want. More clients. Help with their offer. Better systems. Whatever it is. Then the call invitation becomes: “Got it. Want to jump on a 30-minute call and figure out exactly that?” That feels completely different from dropping a Calendly link on a new member. The call is now connected to the problem they just told you they want solved. He treats the call like a gift, not a pitch. Then uses Skoot to run the short DM sequence and move the right conversations toward the booking link. The call itself is where he discovers their goals more deeply and, if there’s a fit, offers the appropriate service. So the call isn’t the first thing you ask for. It becomes the natural next step after they tell you what they came for.

I've got the solution! 🎉
I've been working over the past few days to figure out how to get around Skools' very limited dataset and actions available in the integration with Zapier. I want to track in my GoHighLevel account when a community member upgrades, downgrades, or cancels. By having this data available to me "immediately" and "automatically," I can follow up and send emails that are relevant to where they are in my pipeline. 🤓 🚀 Oh, so much value in having this data in my CRM! (If you're running your business using an external CRM, you totally know the value!) Getting the Zap to work for when a member joins your community is quite simple. Figuring out how to get the other events was a bit of a 'hair-pulling' exercise. 😵‍💫 I'm happy to say I still have some hair left! 👩‍🦰 I've tested my solution ~ and it works! And it will work with GHL and ZOHO. ✅ Here's the offer: I'll install this for your business for a one-time investment of $97 (using your Zapier and CRM accounts). Along with monitoring for $10/month or $97/year (totally optional, but worth it!). There's no fancy funnel page or automation for this offer. Just a calendar link to a 15-minute call where you tell me about your business tools. I'll let you know if this will work for you and what you need to do next. 🤝 Reply and let me know YOU'RE IN, and I'll get the link to you. Don't wait ... I have a feeling my calendar is going to fill quickly!

Never wonder who needs your onboarding reminder this week
If you run a weekly onboarding call, there’s a tiny admin job that comes with it. Figure out who joined recently. Make sure you don’t message older members. Remind the right people about the call. Then do it all again next week. There’s a cleaner way to handle that with Skoot. Create a “New Member” tag. Have every new member get it automatically when they join. Then set the tag to remove itself after 7 days. Now the tag always contains exactly the people who joined in the last week. So when Tuesday comes around, you don’t need to figure out who should get the reminder. That list has already built itself. You can use the tag to @mention those new members in your onboarding post and get the reminder in front of the right people. And this is bigger than onboarding calls. Any time you have something that only applies to people in their first 7, 14, or 30 days... you can create a temporary segment that keeps itself updated. No spreadsheet, checking join dates, or rebuilding the list every week. The right people just keep rotating in and out automatically.

😱Back to School Inbox Panic? There is a solution
Your next sale is sitting in the follow-up you never send
People follow up once. Maybe twice. Then assume the person isn’t interested. One Skool owner just got a call booked from the 3rd DM in her follow-up sequence. And there’s an interesting reason this works especially well with older community members. They’re not really cold anymore. They’ve been sitting inside the community. Seeing other people’s wins. Getting your emails. Seeing your content. Learning what you do. So every once in a while, she goes back through those older members and starts a conversation using a quick slash command. Then Skoot handles the follow-ups from there. Some people reply: “Get back to me in X days.” So she sets a reminder. Others need a couple more nudges. And one of them finally booked on DM #3. You may already have hundreds of people who know who you are and have been quietly getting warmer for months. The opportunity isn’t always finding another new lead. Sometimes it’s having a system that keeps following up with the people already in your world. So far, her Skoot usage shows 136 automated DMs and about 3.2 hours saved. And she still has around 200 older members left to work through. That’s 200 more warm conversations she no longer has to remember to follow up with manually.
