Pause Breathe Start Again
Sometimes I look through the pages of a finished journal and realize they hold much more than marks, colour and paint. They hold moments when life was full, uncertain, joyful, difficult—and I chose to sit with myself and create anyway. Creativity didn't make the circumstances disappear. It simply gave me another place to stand. A place to breathe. To play. To listen. To see differently. And now, a new journal. Blank pages. New possibilities. I don't know what will fill them yet. That's part of the wonder. Maybe today you could find a blank page of your own. Make one mark. Write one word. Choose one colour you love. No need to know where it will lead. Just begin.

What if creativity isn't about becoming an artist at all?
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of watching people create, explore, surprise themselves—and sometimes discover something they didn't know was there. That is why I believe creativity is a bridge. A bridge back to play, freedom and joy. To imagination, possibility and wonder. Not the masterpiece. Not the performance. Not even the finished product. Sometimes it is simply the experience of making—the scribble, the colour, the unexpected mark—that helps us reconnect with parts of ourselves we may have forgotten. So today, give yourself just five minutes. Pick up a pen and make a few wandering lines. Choose a colour simply because you love it. Tear and arrange a few pieces of paper. There is nowhere you have to get to. Just play. And see where the bridge takes you. 🌺✨ Come back to yourself. Welcome home. Breathe. Create. Begin again.

No analysis. No planning. Just let these words, your words, sit with you for a while. Sometimes the next step reveals itself when we stop pushing and allow it to arrive.
