THE MATERIAL ARRANGING PROJECT (MAP)
What becomes possible when we arrange materials with our hands?
The Material Arranging Project is a community exploring that question together.
Material Arranging is a simple, open-ended practice. We choose materials, place them, move them, combine them, rearrange them— and begin again.
There's nothing you need to make. No prescribed outcome. No single right way. Instead, we become curious.
What else could this be?
What happens if I move this?
What might I see differently?
Working with our hands we may also slow down, focus our attention, and feel more grounded.
I offer simple invitations to explore. Follow what catches your attention, then share what happened — a photo, discovery, question, new possibility, or something unexpected.
Look at what others discover, too. Their perspective may help you see something new — and yours may do the same for them.
No artistic experience needed. Just bring your curiosity.
Arrange. Rearrange. And begin again.
