I've added a Power point you can use and adjust as you need to It's a great way to set classroom expectations/ create a class charter by getting everyone on board. Hope it's helpful! I will be using it!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to post about what I’ll be doing on my first morning back. I know many people will be considering doing a summer recount but I want you to just think about all those children who perhaps haven’t had a fantastic summer! By doing a summer recount you could be adding barriers and preventing connections. Instead I’ll be doing a belonging based colouring and then a “something I want my teacher to know” this could be a summer recount if they wanted but it could also be something completely different. Hello! Hope you are all ready and raring to go for the first day back tomorrow. For those of you new to the profession, it's always quite a nice day. There will probably be safeguarding training which is very important. Then there should be plenty of time for you to get to know your team and ask any questions you may have. How did everyone’s first day go? Mine was crazy busy, tough being the newbie and not knowing any routines and getting to grips with new systems! Life is all about pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones though. 😀
