OLD SKOOL FOOTAGE MUST WATCH 💪
I just came across this old video of Lou Ferrigno getting ready for the Masters Mr. Olympia, and man… this one brought back some memories. This was right around the time I had just arrived in Venice, and I remember watching Lou train at Gold’s Gym. Seeing him in person was absolutely unbelievable. The size, the presence, the whole atmosphere in that gym during those years was something you really had to experience. If you love the history of bodybuilding, watch this video. There’s something special about seeing these old-school legends come back, get into shape again, and step onto a bodybuilding stage. And I have to mention Boyer Coe. When I saw Boyer compete, I was completely blown away. In my opinion, that may have been the best Boyer Coe I had ever seen. I personally thought he had a very strong case against Robbie Robinson that night and deserved a much better placing. Lou was a tougher call for me, but Boyer? I walked away thinking he got shortchanged. Different era. Different physiques. Different atmosphere. For those of us who were around this stuff back then, videos like this are almost like opening a time capsule. Definitely worth watching.
1996 Musclemania Footage
Markus - just watched your new YouTube video. So that footage was 1996, and Mike died in 2001. I assume the HIt video was filmed in 2000 or 2001? So you kept in close contact with Mike that whole time? What was the reason he chose to reach out to you for the filming? Just curious since it was so long after you had paid him for training
Gaining Muscle and Fashion?
As I progress with my HIT program, I'm noticing that when I put on t-shirt, sweaters or any shirt really, I am noticing that because my shoulders and chest are expanding and getting bigger that the length of my shirt in the front is much shorter than in the back and it looks kind of ridiculous. (I guess that can be some measurable progress haha). Anyone have any fashion advice on how to address this?
