Day 4 of the Ọṣun Osogbo Festival Diaspora Celebration Tuesday, August 11, 2026 Today, we continue our celebration of our great mother Ọṣun with Ikeserodo, the second sacred River Day of the Ọṣun Osogbo Festival. Ikeserodo is a sacred day of thanksgiving. It is a time to return to the waters not only with our prayers and petitions, but with gratitude, giving thanks to Ọṣun for the blessings received, the prayers already answered, the protection we have experienced, and the sweetness that continues to flow into our lives. Once again, we turn toward the sacred waters. On Ikeserodo, prayers, offerings, rituals, and expressions of thanksgiving are brought to the river and entrusted to the currents of Ọṣun's sacred waters. As we celebrate throughout the diaspora, today invites us to ask ourselves: What are you thankful for? What has Ọṣun carried you through? What sweetness has already found its way into your life? And even as we give thanks, we may continue to place our intentions before Ọṣun for healing, love, fertility, healthy families, prosperity, abundance, peace, and divine alignment.
