Need a serious advice

How can I come out of this and go ahead like I reached the people through cold email and cold calling and view of them showed the intrest and suddenly disappeared no replies . It hurts so much that you were about get your first client and all off a sudden your back at the start . Do it from the start again. Can some one guide me how to handle the clients ?
