Bashful Fit, food for thought.
I was always told that the things you do in private will show up when you’re in public. So most of the fitness stuff I do is not out where everyone can see. Now that I live in the big city though, it’s tough to do things at the park and for no one to see. Not that I care if you or anyone sees me. To be honest, I think the saying is “what you eat in private you wear in public.” Just some food for thought.

Get up and do something.
Today, I am going through some lessons for a certification that will hopefully help me in my new role that I have taken on. The only problem is that I feel stuck in the chair, watching video lessons, taking quizes and basically not moving at all. I have a few things that are my go to movements when feeling stuck in the office, class, or whatever. I will share as this post gains some traction. What are yours? Let's compile a list together of easy low barrier movements that can help us with our fitness, mobility, and dare I say sanity when we are stuck at the computer.
Get up and do something.
Why I'm here?
I am here to help people get moving. Back pain, bad knees, feeling like working out and anything fitness related is just a bunch of stuff that doesn't actually get you moving? So many challenges, so many people out there giving advice, and so many different follows on social media or something to end up watching them and still sitting there thinking that one day you might be able to do it. It is time for us to get moving. Keep it simple! Stay consistent. And most of all keep moving. I'm proud of you for taking the first step to get at it or back at it. What little thing are you doing this week to improve your ability to move?

Focus this week
Each day we have an opportunity to use the energy we have to bring joy to ourselves and those around us. This week choose yes to that walk, that dance, and for me yesterday the ninja practice with my son. It’s easy to say no, so instead say yes and make the time spend the energy and have fun!

Get your steps. How many steps do you normally get in a day. My average steps are just under 8,000. So for me, this week, the goal is to perform more than 8,000 steps a day. How many are you going to do? Just above your average, we are working to form or continue a habit and strengthen our habit by sticking with our own pace. Need some help creating your own goals? Please,, send me a message and I’ll help you.
