WOMEN AT THE WELL
A Monthly Essene Sisterhood Gathering. Women at the Well is a virtual, monthly gathering for women who feel called to draw more deeply from the living waters of the Essene way—its contemplative wisdom, devotion to simplicity, reverence for the natural world, inner purification, and remembrance of the Divine within. Together, Essene sisters Lauren and Leah invite you into a space to step away from the noise, declutter the mind, and return to the wisdom of the soul. The Well has long been a place of encounter, a place where we come empty and leave carrying something living. This is a place to receive so that we may give. A place to replenish what has been poured out. A place to fill the cup—the holy vessel—so that we may return to our lives, families, communities, and service with greater presence and radiance. Each month, we will gather around a different theme designed to deepen our exploration and embodiment of Essene spirituality and the Divine Feminine, creating space for conversation, shared wisdom, ritual, and the mystery of what arises when women gather at the Well together. Our First Gathering is October 10th at 10:00 AM Central Gatherings will be held on zoom. Recordings will be available temporarily through MONASTICA, allowing us to cultivate a more intimate container. Portions of our personal sharing and sacred conversation will remain offline and unrecorded to honor the privacy of the circle. As this sisterhood grows, we hope future gatherings become increasingly collaborative—a place where many voices, gifts, experiences, and expressions of the Essene way can be brought to the Well. You do not need to arrive with answers. Come with your questions. Come with your longing. Come with an empty cup. We invite you to meet us at the Well. Free to attend and revisit. Hello Sisters...
For those of you who carry a strong internal monastic archetype and have experience in daily devotional rhythms, spiritual discipline, the wisdom of the feminine path of Christ, or have traveled the Essene path, I invite you to share your sacred gifts and wisdom with this community. Each month or so, I would like to highlight a WISDOM KEEPER. Ideally, this would be a live zoom, but it could be pre-recorded with me. Please reach out if you feel aligned to share your sacred service. I'm taking virtual teas with women who are inspired to facilitate for this community. https://app.acuityscheduling.com/schedule.php?owner=24477263&calendarID=9122735

🌹Welcome to MONASTICA
We are so glad you have found your way here. MONASTICA is a modern contemplative sanctuary for all spiritual seekers and those who feel called to live The Way more deeply—rooted in the teachings of Yeshua, the wisdom of the Nazarene Essene tradition, the Judeo-Christian mystical and shamanic lineages through the devotional path of the Rose. This is a place for Silence • Simplicity • Sacred Rhythm • Embodied Devotion • Community. We are not here to give you another religious identity to adopt, we are here to cultivate a way of life. Before you begin exploring, please take a few moments to read this entire welcome post and our community agreements. 🌹 STEP ONE | ENTER THE SANCTUARY Take some time to explore MONASTICA. Visit the Calendar to discover our upcoming gatherings, Wisdom Teachings, Sanctuary Sundays, Women at the Well circles, Devotional Wellness offerings, guest facilitators, and other opportunities to gather. Then visit the Classroom, where you will find our growing library of contemplative practices, recorded teachings, devotional resources, Essene wisdom, spiritual nutrition, somatic practices, and formation materials. There is no need to consume everything. Begin where you feel drawn. MONASTICA is not another place to hurry through content. It is an invitation to slow down, listen deeply, and allow wisdom to become embodied through practice. 🌿 STEP TWO | INTRODUCE YOURSELF Please create a post in our community and tell us a little about yourself. You might share: • Where you are joining us from • What brought you to MONASTICA • What you are longing for in this season of your life • What you are currently exploring, questioning, healing, or uncovering in your relationship with God • Which contemplative or spiritual practices already nourish you There is no perfect way to introduce yourself. Simply arrive as you are. 🕊️ THIS IS OUR SANCTUARY MONASTICA is a monastery without walls. Although we gather online, what we are creating together is sacred space.
🌹Welcome to MONASTICA
WOMEN AT THE WELL: Reflections from our first gathering
It was such an honor to sit with the women that could join us at the well this past Saturday. We gathered around forgiveness—its challenges, its tenderness, and what it asks of us. I found myself wondering, when we witness actions that cause harm, how might forgiveness deepen our pursuit of justice? Can we name harm clearly, uphold accountability, and still keep our hearts open to another’s humanity? Perhaps forgiveness can help us seek justice without becoming consumed by the harm we are seeking to heal. This is a question I want to keep listening into. We also spoke about the loneliness that can accompany the narrow path. For those of us choosing a vegan way of life, even a family meal can become a place where we feel alone in what matters deeply to us. There is nourishment in having companions who understand—women who encourage us, help us remain accountable to our commitments, and offer a place where we can speak honestly about the difficulties. As Women at the Well continues to unfold, we hope to explore more deeply how to live a fully nourished and empowered vegan lifestyle. And further explore foundational principles of the Essene way, such as sevenfold peace, purity, humility, sacrament, communion with the angels of the tree of life, spiritual fasting, and deeper pathways of sisterhood. May this well become a place where we receive the companionship and courage to live what we believe—with compassion, integrity, and room to keep growing. Please share your reflections and thoughts for our next gathering…TBA In everlasting love and peace, Lauren
